AMG vehicles :Act ive Distanc eAssist
DISTRONIC supportsasporty driving style
when youhave selected theSor S+ orMdrive
program (Ypage 132). Acceleration behind
the vehicle infront ortothe setspeed isthen
notic eably moredynamic. Whenyouselect the
C drive program, thevehicle accelerates more
gently. Thissettin gis recommen dedinstop-
and-start traffic.
Changing lanes
If you want tochange tothe overtakin glane
on multi-lane roads,Active Distanc eAssist

Stopping If Act ive Distanc eAssist DISTRONIC detects

Once yourvehicle isstationary, itremains sta-
tionary andyoudonot need todepress the
brake. Afteratime, theelectric parking brake
secures thevehicle andrelieves theservice
brake.
