A lane-correcting brakeapplication canbe
made afterdriving overalane marking recog-
nized asbeing solidorbroken. Beforethis,a
warning musthavebeen issuedbymeans ofa
vibratio nthrough thesteering wheel.In addi -
tion, alane with lanemarkings onboth sides
must havebeen detected.
In the case ofabroken lanemarking being
detected, alane-correcting brakeapplication
can only bemade ifavehicle hasbeen detec-
ted inthe adjacent lane.Thefollow ingvehicle s
can have aninflue nceonbrake application:
oncoming traffic,vehiclesthat areovertaking
and vehicle sthat aredriving paralleltoyou r
vehicle .
