proper angle. Tighten the through-bolts and nuts to
41 ft. Ibs. (57 Nm). The proper angle is 84-86”. After
the arm and the shafts are connected at the right an-
gle, measure dimensions A and B to insure correct

The lower ball joint is an integral part of the lower
control arm assembly, and can not be serviced sepa-
rately. A worn or damaged ball joint requires replace-
ment of lower control arm assembly.

INSPECTION
1. Raise and safely support the vehicles on jack-

nuts to 62 ft. Ibs. (86 Nm).
