Searching for POI along a speci ed street.
1 Display the “Advanced Search”
menu and touch [POI along a Street]

Input the “State”, “City” and “Street”
Input the “State”, “City” and “Street” with the same
operations as in
“From Address/Intersection” (page 3-2)

location, “No POI found” is displayed. Touch [OK]

vicinity. Displays the list and enables selection of stored
facilities at the destination or along the route.

Searching for a location by scrolling

The scroll menu is displayed.
The remaining operations are the same as from “Destination Setting for Scrolled Position” (page 2-8)

Return Trip
The starting position when setting a route
can be set as a new destination.

menu and touch [Return Trip]
A map of the vicinity is displayed with the starting

Latitude/Longitude
The destination can be set by specifying
the latitude/longitude.
1 Display the “Advanced Search”
menu and touch [Latitude/Longitude]
The latitude/longitude of the current location are
displayed. 2 Touch [Latitude] or [Longitude]

Destination Setting
After deciding on a location it can be set as a
destination or way point, or the location can
be stored.
Setting as Destination
Setting the displayed location as the
destination.
1 Touch [Start]

When a route has already been set, that route is
deleted and a route search starts with the displayed
location as the destination.

Carpool / HOV inclusion (if so equipped) This screen

Setting as Way Point
After finding a location when a route has
already been set, the displayed location
can be set as a way point.
1 Touch [Itinerary List]
A list of the way points and destination is displayed. 2 Touch [Add] in the sequence in
which it is to be visited

Storing the Location
Storing the displayed location and adding
it to the address book.

The information screen for the location to be stored is
displayed. 2 Touch [Set to Address Book]

distance, and route guidance starts.NOTE The distance unit in the factory settings is “miles”. If the
unit is changed to “km” (

the detour distances are [1], [5], [10], [20], [40], [80].
 A detour route longer than the entire route length
cannot be selected.
Avoid Street
Settings are performed here for selecting
a start street and an end street, and
detouring the area in between.
