The windshield wiper and washer can be operated with the ignition switch in the “ON” or “ACC” position.If the blades are frozen to the windshield, do not operate the wipers until the ice has melted and the blades are freed, otherwise the wipermotor may be damaged.
With the lever in the “INT” (speed sensitive intermittent operation) position, the intermit- tent intervals can be adjusted by turning theknob (A).
NOTE
 If the headlights are switched to high beam, the front fog lights will go
out; they will illu-
minate again when the headlights are switched back to low beam.  If the light switch is rotated to the “OFF” or “ ” position while the front fog lights are illuminated, they will automatically turn off. They can be turned back on again by rotatingthe combination headlights and dimmer switch back to “ ” position, and turning the knob in the direction of the “ON” posi- tion.  Do not use fog lights except in conditions of fog, otherwise excessive light glare maytemporarily blind oncoming vehicle drivers.

CAUTION If the washer is used in cold weather, the washer fluid sprayed against the glass may freeze, which may hinder visibility. Warm the glass with the defroster before using thewasher.

Fold the sun visor downward (1) to reduce front glare while driving. To reduce side glare, turn the visor to the side (2).
The vanity mirrors are located on the back of the sun visors.
NOTE
 Depending on the type of the USB memory device or other device connected, the con- nected device may not function properly orthe available functions may be limited.  It is recommended to use an iPod with firm- ware updated to the latest version.  You can charge your iPod by connecting it to the USB input terminal when the ignition switch is in the “ACC” or “ON” position.  Do not keep your USB memory device or iPod in your vehicle.  It is recommended that you back up the files in case of data damage.  Do not connect to the USB input terminal any device (hard disk, card reader, memory reader, etc.) other than the connectabledevices specified in the previous section. If the cur- tain airbag was activated, any such item could be propelled away with great force and could prevent the curtain airbag frominflating correctly. Hang clothes directly on the coat hook (without using a hanger). Make sure there are no heavy or sharpobjects in the pockets of clothes that you hang on the coat hook.
