samalla vyasta.
4-Kiinnittakaa apuhihna (2) vyan (1) koukkuun iotuimen kiinnittamisakei kunnolla.
Saatakaa vyan pituus, jotta se ei olisi laysa. Vyan pituuden saadan
jalkeen kiinnitetaan tarrahibna.
5-Taittakaa istuimen jalka.

3-While pulling back on the belt, fold the entire seat upward.
4-Catch the assist strap (2) with the hook of the belt (1) to secure the
seat firmly.
Adjust the length of the belt to be
free of slack. After adjustment of belt length, en ­
gage the magic fasteners of the belt positively.

1. Raise the leg.
2 . Remove the hook from the assist strap while supporting the entire seat.
3 . After lowering the seat slowly, push the entire seat down with force to secure it positively. 4. Pull up the knob located on the side of the seat to raise the seatback ,
& CAUTIONS (1) Be sure to raise the third seat leg before use of the seat. (2) After folding the seat or returning it to the original position. shake the seat back back and forth lightly to make sure that the seat is secured positively.

varovaisesti ja vain istuinten keskelle astuen. reunoille
astuttaessa saattaa jalka helposti vajota istuinten valiin . Teknisista syista ei ajoneuvoa tule ajaa istuimet makuualustaksi taitettuina.

& CAUTION Folding down the seat back all the way while the side seatback is still secured to it could damage the side
seatback.
To return the seat to the original position; press the lever (A) down and move the seat backward until it is securely locked.
Do not operate lever (A) except when making a bed or returning the seat to the original position.
Recline the seatback of third seat all the way back .
& CAUTION Do not walk around on top of the seats after they have been made into a bed. If you make a false step and your foot misses the seat. you could be injured; always move around carefully and step only in the middle of the seats.
For technical reasons. the vehicle should not be driven with bed.

NOTE Before purchasing a child seat or infant carrier, try installing it in
the rear seat to assure a good fit Due to the location of the seat
belt buckles in the seat cushion, it may be difficult to securely
install some child restraint systems.
If the child restraint system can be pulled forward easily on the seat cusion after the belt has been tightened, choose another child restraint system.
Older children Children who have outgrown child restraint system should be
seated in the rear seat and wear combination lap shoulder belt The lap belt should be snug and positioned low on the abdomen so that it is below the top of the hip-bone . Otherwise,
the belt could intrude into the child's abdomen during an
accident and cause personal injury.
& CAUTION (1) Children who aren't buckled up can be thrown out of the vehicle in an accident,
(2) Children who aren't buckled up can strike other people who are.

Joen ylitys
Nelipyoravetoiset ajoneuvot eivat valttamatta ole vedenpitavia. Jos niiden sahkopiirit paasevat kastumaan , kay ajaminen mah ­dottomaksi, joten valttakaa jokien ylittamista mikali mahdollista. Mikali sita ei voida valttaa toimikaa se uraavasti :
(1) Valitkaa ylityspaikka, jossa veden korkeus on yli 50 cm. (2) Asettakaa valitsin asentoo n "4LLc" (Super select 4WD) tai "4L" (osa -aika 4WD)

Turning sharp corners < Except "4H" (Super select
4WO»
When turning a sharp corner in four-wheel drive , the same
thing that happens w hen doing so with the brake applied may occur. This is call e d tight corne r braking, and results from each of the four ty res being at a different distance from the corner.
Th e phenomenon is peculiar to four-wheel drive vehicles. If this occurs, either str aighten out the steering wheel, or change to two- w he el drive.
Crossing a stream
Four-w heel drive ve hicles are not necessarily waterproof. If the
e lectr ical c ircu it s become wet, further operation of t he vehicle will be impossib le ; therefore , avoid crossi ng streams unless absolutely necessary. If crossing a stream is unavoidable, us e
th e following procedure:
( 1 ) Cross at a place where the
water is less than 50 cm (1 .6 ft.)
deep .
(2) Set the transfe r shift lever to "4LLc" (Super select 4WD) or "4L" (Part time 4WD).
(3) Drive slowly at a sp eed of approximately 5 km/h (3 mph) to avoid sp lashing too much water,

& VAROITUS Pitaaksenne kasettisoittimen mahdollisimman hyva­kuntoisena. noudattakaa seuraavia varotoimenpiteita.
(1) Alkaa kayttakb pitempia kasetteja kuin C-90, silla niiden
aanen laatu samoin kuin kestavyys ovat huomattavasti
heikompia kuin Iyhyempien kasettien. (2) Sijoittakaa aina kasetit kuunneltuanne takaisin koteloi­
hinsa, jotta ne eivat venyisi eivatka pblyyntyisi (3) Sailyttakaa kasetteja suojassa auringonpaisteelta, kuumuu­delta ja magneettik entilta, joita on aina mm. radion
kovaaanisten laheisyydessa.
(4) Katsokaa aina ennenkuin tybnnatte kasetin soittimeen ,
ettei sen nimilappu ole irronnut. (5) Lbysa kasetti on syyta kiristaa ennen kuuntelua.
Sahkosaatoinen antenni* HHOI D Aa
Antenni nousee automaattisesti silloin
kun radio kaannetaan paalle. Ennen kuin
laitatte radion paalle, katsokaa etta an­
tennin lahella ei ole ketaan. Jos radio
sammutetaan tai virta-avain laitetaan
"LOCK" -asentoon, antenni vetaytyy au­
tomaattisesti takaisin. Ennen kuin ajatte
autonpesupaikalle tai muuten matala­
kattoiseen tilaan, katsokaa etta antenni
on alhaalla.

Handling of cassette tapes EH 02 B-A
& CAUTION To maintain the cassette tape player in good condition, observe the following precautions.
(1) Do not use cassette tapes longer than C-90, otherwise sound quality and tape durability will be greatly dimin­
ished .
(2) Keep the cassette tape in its case to protect from tape
looseness and dust when it is not used . (3) Keep the cassette tape away from direct sunlight. heat and
magnetic fields such as the radio speakers . (4) Before inserting the cassette , make sure that the label is adhered securely to the cassette. (5) A loose tape should be corrected before use.

Motor antenna* EHOID-Ad
The antenna will be automatically ex­
tended when the radio is switched on.
Befor e switching on the radio, make sure
that there is no one near the antenna. If the radio is switched OFF or the key is
set to the "LOCK " position, the antenna
will be automatically retracted. Before
driving into a vehicle wash or low-roof area, make sure that the antenna is
retracted .
Be sure to keep the antenna clean, be­
cause it may not function correct ly if it is dirty with mud or sand.

Winding the winch EJ04C·G
Attach the hook securely to the object to be pulled, or to a tree or other firmly planted object if the vehicle itself is to be
pulled .
Set the
winch clutch lever to the "ON" position.
NOTE
If the
winch clutch lever does not fit into the "ON" position, move the lever while pulling on the cable in order to turn the drum.
