The rear door windows only open halfway, not completely.

2. To remove the cover, insert the end
of a screwdriver and break the pawl of the cover attachment.
NOTE Wrap a piece of cloth around the tip of the screwdriver in order to avoid scratching the cover.
3, Fit for long end of the sunroof wrench into the screwdriver's multi­
purpose handle. Next. insert the
wrench into sunroof motor drive
shaft and close the front canvas sunroof by turning the wrench anti -clockwise.

Hold and pull the bands rearward and
remove the rod from the holder.
& CAUTION Do not pull on the cloth part of the flap.
Remove the velcros located on both sides of the rear flap and open the
zipper.
Roll
up the rear flap and secure it with the straps.
Roll to a minimum diameter for conve-'
nient storage.

Sovittakaa sivusuojuksen kehyksen peit­
teet
taitetun kehyksen paihin ja var­
mistakaa suojus nauhoilla an.
Laittakaa irrotetut sivupeitteet taitetun
kehyksen ja takaistuimen
valiin ja sovit­takaa keskisuojuksen kehyksen peite sen
paalle .
Varmistakaa suojuksen takaosa asenta­
malla suojuksen tanko pidikkeeseen,
joka sijaitsee takaoven ylla. Etuosa kiin­
nitetaan taittamalla takaistuin ja sen
jalkeen kiinnittamalla suojuksen etuosa
teipilla
istuinnojan takaosaan.

frame and secure the bands of the covers
with the tapes.
Set the removed side flaps between the
folded frame and rear
seat and fit the
centre canva s top fram e cover on to it.
Secure the rear side of the cover by
mounting the cover's rod on the holder located at the outer top of the back door.
To secure the front side , fold the rear seat, then secure the front side of the
cover with the tape on the rear side of the seatback .

3-point type seat belt (with emergency locking
mechanism)
This type of belt requires no length adjustment. Once worn, the
belt adjusts itself to the movement of wearer, but in the event of a sudden or strong shock , the belt automatically locks to hold the wearer's body.
TO FASTEN
Insert the plate into the buckle until it snaps .
& CAUTION (1) Always position the lap por­tion of belt as low on the hip bones as possible.
(2) The seat belts must not be twisted when worn.
Pull the belt slightly to adjust looseness as desired.

Ottakaa lukkolevy kiiteenne ja tyontiikiiii se solkeen, kunnes kuuluu "naksahdus".
HUOM Keskilantiovyon soljessa ja laatassa on
merkki "CENTER".

kiiytiitte keskilantiovyotii.

TO UNFASTEN
Hold the plate and push the button on
the buckle.
NOTE
As the belt retracts
automatically, keep
the plate held while retracting so that the
belt stows slowly.
Lap belts
The lap belts should be adjusted by holding the belt and latch plate at right angles to each other, and then pulling
the belt as shown in the illustration to a
snug fit around the occupant.
1-Tighten 2-Loosen
Holding the latch plate by hand, insert
the latch plate into the buckle until a "click" is heard.
NOTE
The
buckle and plate of the centre lap
belt are marked with "CENTER".
Be sure to check the marking before
wearing the centre lap belt.

WARNING (1) Accident statistics indicates that children are safer when properly restrained in the rear seat rather than in the front seat. Accordingly, Mitsu­bishi Motors Corporation recommends the child be restrained in the rear seat.
(2) Holding a child in your arms is no substitute for a restraint system. Failure to use a proper restraint system can result in severe or fatal injury to your child.

Infants and small children
For infants small enough for infants
seats, an infant carrier should be used.
For small children whose height when seated allows the shoulder belt to lie in contact with the face or the throat. a
child seat should be used . No more than
one restraint device or fixing to be used
by more than one child.
Th e child restraint system should be
appropriate
for your child's weight and
height and properly fit the vehicle . For a
higher degree of safety, TH E CH I LD
RESTRAINT SYSTEM SHOULD BE IN­STALLED IN THE REAR SEAT.
When installing a child restraint system,
refer
to the instructions provided by the
manufacturer of the restraint system.
Failure to
do so can result in severe or
fatal injury to your child. When not in
use , keep your child or infant seat se­
cured with the seat belt or remove it from the vehicle in order to prevent injury to
