1.CHECK TRUNK LAMP SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Check voltage between BCM connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 6
NO >> GO TO 2
2.CHECK TRUNK LAMP SWITCH CIRCUIT
1. Disconnect BCM and trunk lamp switch and trunk release solenoid connectors.
2. Check continuity between BCM connector and trunk la mp switch and trunk release solenoid connector.
3. Check continuity between BCM connector and ground.

Check continuity between trunk lid lock assembly connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 4
NO >> Repair or replace trunk lamp switch and trunk release solenoid ground circuit.
4.CHECK BCM OUTPUT SIGNAL
1. Insure trunk remains closed during this step.
2. Connect BCM connector.
3. Check voltage between BCM connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 5
NO >> Replace BCM. Refer to BCS-80, "Removal and Installation"

5.CHECK TRUNK LAMP SWITCH
Refer to DLK-127, "Component Inspection"

YES >> GO TO 6
NO >> Replace trunk lamp switch and trunk release solenoid.

1. Release the lock knob at the back of the In telligent Key and remove the mechanical key.

• Use protective tape or shop cloths to protect surrounding components from damage during removal
