SPECIAL FEATURES OF
ALLOY WHEELSFitting the spare wheel
If your vehicle is equipped with a steel
s p a r e w h e e l , w h e n i t t i n g i t , i t i s nor-
mal to notice that the bolt washers
do not come into contact with the rim.
The spare wheel is secured by the
cone shape of each bolt. Wheel anti-theft bolts
I f y o u r w h e e l s a r e i t t e d w i t h a n t i - t h e f t
b o l t s ( o n e p e r w h e e l ) , t h e c h r o m e -
plated trim cap and then the plastic
cover on the wheel must be removed,
using the
yellow t o o l ( l o c a t e d i n t h e
b o x i x e d t o t h e l e f t - h a n d s i d e o f t h e
boot), before slackening the bolt us-
i n g t h e a n t i - t h e f t s o c k e t ( l o c a t e d i n
the glove box) and the wheelbrace,
located in the boot rear right inner
panel.
Note: take a careful note of the code
number engraved on the head of the
anti-theft socket. This will enable you
to obtain a duplicate anti-theft socket
from a PEUGEOT dealer.
Fitting snow tyres
I f y o u i t s n o w t y r e s t h a t a r e m o u n t e d
on steel rims onto your vehicle, it is
es-
sential that you use special bolts avail-
able from your PEUGEOT dealer.
Bolt covers
Alloy wheel bolts are covered by
chrome trims.
Use the yellow tool
4 to remove the
trims before slackening the bolts.
Tool 4 is located on the rear right in-
ner panel of the boot.

for the H7 55W bulb or B for the
H1 55W bulb.
F D i s c o n n e c t t h e c o n n e c t o r ( s ) C.
F Press the end of the securing
c l i p ( s ) D t o r e m o v e i t ( t h e m ) .
Change the faulty bulb.CHANGING A BULB
To make access easier, on the right-
hand side , i r s t r e m o v e t h e s c r e e n
w a s h r e s e r v o i r i l l e r p i p e :
F align the notches by turning,
F pull upwards.
1. Dipped beam headlamps /
main beam headlamps
2. Side lights
3. Direction indicators F
O n i t t i n g , e n s u r e t h a t t h e
direction notches are in the
correct position and that the
s e c u r i n g c l i p ( s ) i s ( a r e ) s e c u r e d
correctly.
F Reconnect the connector.
F R e p l a c e t h e p r o t e c t i v e c o v e r ( s ) ,
then the screen wash reservoir
i l l e r p i p e ( r i g h t - h a n d s i d e ) .

Front fog lamps
H1 55W
P r e s s u n d e r t h e a c c e s s l a p t o r e-
lease it.
O p e n t h e l a p .
Turn the cover to remove it.
Disconnect the bulb.
Press the two ends of the securing
clip to release the bulb. Rear fog lamp P21W
Unclip the lamp and release the as-
sembly.
Turn the pin connector a quarter turn
and remove it.
Change the bulb.
Number plate lights
W5W
Insert a thin screwdriver into one of the
outer holes of the transparent cover.
Push it outwards to unclip it.
Remove the transparent cover.
Change the faulty bulb.

The fuse boxes are located under
the fascia and in the engine compart-
ment.

Unscrew the catch a quarter turn us-
ing a coin then remove the cover to
gain access to the fuses.
The spare fuses and the pliers

secured on the inside of the fascia

Before changing a fuse, the cause of the fault must be foun
d and remedied. The
fuse numbers are indicated on the fuse box.
Use the pliers A.
Always replace a faulty fuse with a fuse of the same rating .

Fitting / removing the
mat
When removing the mat on the driv-
er's side, push the seat as far back
a s p o s s i b l e a n d r e m o v e t h e i x i n g s .
W h e n r e i t t i n g , p o s i t i o n t h e m a t c o r -
r e c t l y o n t h e p i n a n d c l i p t h e i x i n g s .
Check that the mat is secured cor-
rectly.
To prevent the mat from becoming
caught under the pedals:
- only use mats suited to the i x i n g s a l r e a d y p r e s e n t i n t h e
vehicle. It is imperative that
t h e s e i x i n g s a r e u s e d .
- n e v e r i t o n e m a t o n t o p o f another. - Clean off bird
droppings, resinous
deposits, tar stains and
grease marks as soon
a s p o s s i b l e ; ( t h e s e a l l c o n t a i n substances which can cause
serious damage to the
paintwork).
- Do not use a dry or abrasive cloth or detergent or solvent
products to clean the double
lens, complex surface
h e a d l a m p s a s t h e y a r e i t t e d
with polycarbonate glass
covered in a protective
i n i s h .
- Do not use petrol, oil or cloth stain removers to clean the
bodywork and plastic parts of
your vehicle.
- To prevent the development of bodywork corrosion as a
result of accidental damage
( s t o n e c h i p s , s c r a t c h e s , e t c . )
have them repaired swiftly.
BODYWORK MAINTENANCE
To preserve the paintwork and the
plastic trim on your vehicle, we recom-
mend that you wash them regularly.
- b y h a n d : t h e r e a r e n o s p e c i i c precautions to take;
- using an automatic car wash: repeated use of poorly
maintained automatic car
washes can lead to the
appearance of microscopic
scratches which give the
paintwork a matt appearance
( e s p e c i a l l y v i s i b l e o n d a r k
colours);
- using a high pressure washer: always follow the
recommendations on the
e q u i p m e n t ( p r e s s u r e a n d
spraying distance).
If there are damaged areas on t h e v e h i c l e ( p a i n t e d b u m p e r s
or headlamps), it is not
recommended to direct the high
pressure jet onto them. Wash
these areas by hand.
Also avoid the entry of water into the locks.
