INSTRUMENTS and CONTROLS
Total distance recorder
System which measures the total distance
travelled by the vehicle during its life. Lighting rheostat
System for manual adjustment of the
brightness of the instruments and con-
trols in relation to the exterior brightness.
The total and trip distances are dis-
played for thirty seconds when the igni-
tion is switched off, when the driver's
door is opened and when the vehicle is
locked or unlocked. Trip distance recorder
System which measures a distance
travelled during a day or other period
since it was reset to zero by the driver.
With the ignition on, press the button
until zeros appear. Activation
When the lights are on:
press the button to change the
brightness of the instruments and
controls,
when the lighting reaches the mini- mum setting, release the button,
then press again to increase it,
or
when the lighting reaches the maxi-
mum setting, release the button, then
press again to reduce it,
when the lighting reaches the level
of brightness required, release the
button.
Deactivation
When the lights are off, or in day mode
o n v e h i c l e s fi t t e d w i t h d a y t i m e l i g h t s ,
pressing the button does not have any
effect.

General menu "Audio functions" menu
Press the "MENU" button to gain
access to the general menu :
- audio functions,
- vehicle diagnostics,
- p e r s o n a l i s a t i o n - c o n fi g u r a t i o n ,
- telephone (hands-free kit).
Press the " " or " " buttons to se-
l e c t t h e m e n u r e q u i r e d , t h e n c o n fi r m
by pressing the "OK" button.
With the PC Sound switched on, once
this menu has been selected you can
activate or deactivate the functions
linked with use of the radio (RDS, REG,
R a d i o T e x t ) o r t h e C D ( i n t r o s c a n , s h u f fl e ,
CD repeat).
For further details concerning the
"Audio functions" application, refer to
the PC Sound part of the "Audio and
Telematics" section.
MONOCHROME SCREEN C (WITH PC SOUND)
Displays on the screen
This displays the following information:
- the time,
- the date,
- t h e o u t s i d e t e m p e r a t u r e ( t h i s fl a s h e s if there is a risk of ice),
- the status of the accesses (doors, boot...),
- the audio sources (radio, CD...),
- the trip computer (refer to the end of the section).
Warning messages (e.g.: "Emission control
system faulty") or information messages (e.g.:
"Automatic switching on of the headlamps
activated") may appear temporarily. These
can be cleared by pressing the "ESC"
button.
Controls
From the control panel of your PC Sound,
you can:
press the "MENU" button to gain
access to the general menu ,
press the " " or " " buttons to scroll
through the items on the screen,
press the "MODE" button to change
the permanent application (trip com-
puter, audio source...),
press the " " or " " buttons to change
a setting value,
press the "OK" b u t t o n t o c o n fi r m ,
or
press the "ESC" button to abandon
the operation in progress.

"Vehicle diagnostics"
menu
Press the "MENU" button to gain
access to the general menu.
Press the arrows, then the "OK" but-
ton to select the " Vehicle diagnos-
tics
" menu.
On the "
Vehicle diagnostics " menu,
select the following application:
Warnings log
This summarises the active warning
messages, displaying them in succes-
sion on the multifunction display.
Once this menu has been selected, you
can consult information concerning the
status of the vehicle, such as the warn-
ings log.

Once this menu has been selected, you
can activate or deactivate the following
equipment:
-
selective unlocking (refer to the "Access"
section),
- "follow-me-home" and welcome lighting (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- ambient lighting (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- daytime lights (refer to the "Visibility" section). "Personalisation-

Once this menu has been selected, you
can gain access to the following functions:

For safety reasons, it is imperative
t h a t c o n fi g u r a t i o n o f t h e m u l t i f u n c t i o n
displays by the driver takes place
when stationary. "Telephone" menu
D i s p l a y c o n fi g u r a t i o n
Once this menu has been selected, you
can gain access to the following settings:
- brightness-video setting,
- date and time setting,
- selection of the units.
Selection of the language
Once this menu has been selected,
you can change the language used by
the display (Deutsch, English, Espanol,
Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Portugues,
Portugues-Brasil, Türkçe * ).
Example: setting of the duration of the
"follow-me-home" lighting
Press the " " or " " buttons, then
the "OK" button to select the menu
required.
Press the " " or " " buttons,
then the "OK" button to select the
"Follow-me-home lighting" line.
Press the " " or " " buttons to
set the value required (15, 30 or
60 seconds), then press the "OK"

Press the " " or " " buttons, then
the "OK" button to select the "OK"

button to cancel. With the PC Sound switched on, once
this menu has been selected you can

(matching), consult the various telephone
directories (calls log, services...) and
manage your communications (pick up,
hang up, call waiting, secret mode...).

Displays on the screen
When the screen is unfolded, it displays
the following information automatically
and directly:
- the time,
- the date,
- the altitude,
- the exterior temperature (the value dis- p l a y e d fl a s h e s i f t h e r e i s a r i s k o f i c e ) ,
- the accesses check,
- the warning and vehicle function status messages, displayed temporarily,
- the audio functions,
- the trip computer information,
- the satellite navigation system infor- mation.
DISPLAY (WITH PC NAV) Controls
From the PC Nav control panel, to se-
lect one of the applications:
press the dedicated "RADIO" ,
"MUSIC" , "NAV" , "TRAFFIC" ,
"SETUP" or "PHONE" button to gain
access to the corresponding menu,
turn the navigator to move the selection,
p r e s s t h e n a v i g a t o r t o c o n fi r m t h e
selection,
or
press the "ESC" button to abandon
the current operation and return to
the previous display. For operation of the retractable
display (opening, closing, adjust-
ment of the position, etc.), refer to
the paragraph "Access to the re-
tractable display".

"SETUP" menu
Press the "SETUP" button to gain
access to the "SETUP" menu.
This allows you to select from the
following functions:
- "Languages",
- "Date and time",
- "Display",
- "Vehicle parameters",
- "Units",
- "System parameters".
Languages
This menu allows you to select the
language used by the display: Deutsch,
English, Espanol, Français, Italiano,
Nederlands, Polski, Portugues, Türkçe * .
Date and time
This menu allows you to set the date
and time, the format of the date and
the format of the time (refer to the PC
Nav part of the "Audio and Telematics"
section). Display
This menu allows you to set the bright-
ness of the screen, the screen colour
scheme and the colour of the map (day/
night or auto mode).
Vehicle parameters
This menu allows you to activate or
deactivate certain driving and comfort
equipment:
- selective unlocking (refer to the
"Accesses" section),
- follow-me-home and welcome lighting (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- ambient lighting (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- daytime lights (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- directional headlamps (refer to the "Visibility" section).
Units
This menu allows you to select the
units: temperature (°C or °F) and con-
sumption (km/l, l/100 or mpg).
System parameters
This menu allows you to restore the fac-
t o r y c o n fi g u r a t i o n , d i s p l a y t h e s o f t w a r e
version and activate the scrolling text. For safety reasons, it is imperative
t h a t c o n fi g u r a t i o n o f t h e m u l t i f u n c t i o n
displays by the driver is carried out
when stationary.

Displays on the screen
When the screen is unfolded, it displays

Press the "SETUP" button to gain
access to the "SETUP" menu.
This allows you to select from the
following functions:
- "Languages and voice functions",
- "Date and time",
- "Display",
- "Units",
- "System parameters".

This menu allows you to:
- select the language used by the dis- play (Deutsch, English, Espanol,
Français, Italiano, Nederlands, Polski,
Portugues, Türkçe * ),

select the voice recognition parameters (activation/deactivation, advice on use,
personal voice programming, etc.),
- set the volume of the voice synthesiser.
Date and time
This menu allows you to set the date and
time, the format of the date and the format
of the time (refer to the PC Com 3D part
of the "Audio and Telematics" section.
Units
This menu allows you to select the
units: temperature (°C or °F) and dis-
tance (km or miles).
System parameters
This menu allows you to restore the fac-

When the route required is dis-
played, press the control for more
than two seconds.
Route zero reset
With the monochrome screen C or
the instrument panel large display A few definitions…
When the range falls below 20 miles ( 3 0 k m ) , d a s h e s a r e d i s p l a y e d . A f t e r fi l l -ing with at least 5 litres of fuel, the range is recalculated and is displayed when it exceeds 60 miles (100 km).
If dashes are displayed continu-ously while driving in place of the digits, contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
This function is only displayed from 20 mph (30 km/h).
T h i s fi g u r e m a y v a r y f o l l o w i n g a change in the style of driving or t h e r e l i e f , r e s u l t i n g i n a s i g n i fi c a n t change in the current consumption.
Range
(km or miles)
This indicates the distance which can still be travelled with the fuel remaining in the tank in relation to the average consumption over the last few miles (kilometres) trav-elled.
Current consumption
(l/100 km or km/l or mpg)
This is the average quantity of fuel consumed during the last few seconds.
A v e r a g e c o n s u m p t i o n
(l/100 km or km/l or mpg)
This is the average quantity of fuel consumed since the last trip computer zero reset.
A v e r a g e s p e e d
(km/h or mph)
This is the average speed calculated since the last trip computer zero reset (igni-tion on).
D i s t a n c e t r a v e l l e d
(km or miles)
This indicates the distance travel-led since the last trip computer zero reset.
Distance remaining
to destination
(km or miles)
This is the distance remaining to be tra-
v e l l e d t o t h e fi n a l d e s t i n a t i o n . I t i s e i t h e r
calculated instantly by the navigation
system, if guidance is activated, or en-
tered by the user.
If the distance is not entered, dashes
are displayed in place of the digits.
With the instrument panel PC Com 3D
16/9 large display
When the required route is dis-
played, press the "OK" button on
the navigator, associated with the
PC Com 3D.
Routes "1" and "2" are independent
but their use is identical.
Route "1" permits, for example, daily
calculations, and route "2" monthly
calculations.

1 . T e m p e r a t u r e a d j u s t m e n t The air distribution can be
adapted by placing the dial in
an intermediate position.
The air conditioning can only operate
with the engine running. 4. Air intake/Air recirculation
The intake of exterior air prevents misting
of the windscreen and side windows.
The recirculation of interior air insulates
the passenger compartment from exte-
rior odours and smoke.

the air quality and avoid misting.
I f y o u p l a c e t h e a i r fl o w c o n t r o l
in position 0 (deactivation of the
system), the temperature is no
longer maintained at a comfort-

of the vehicle, can still be felt.
