ACCESS
Unlocking and partially opening
the boot
BOOT Boot anti-theft protection
The boot is designed to remain secure,
e v e n i n t h e " c a b r i o l e t " c o n fi g u r a t i o n , i f
the vehicle is locked.
So, when the vehicle is locked and the
roof is open, the boot cannot be un-
locked:
- by means of the interior door open- ing control,
- by pressing the manual centralised control A , when the key is not in the
ignition switch.
Opening
After unlocking the boot or the vehi-
cle using the remote control or the
key, press the opening control, then
raise the boot lid.
When the selective unlocking is ac-
tivated, the boot can be opened at
the second press of the unlocking
button on the remote control.
Press this button for more
than two seconds to un-
lock the boot. The boot
opens slightly.
This action also unlocks the doors.
If a battery failure occurs, the boot
is locked. Consult a PEUGEOT
dealer. Closing
Lower the boot lid using the interior
grab handle.
Press on the top of the boot lid to
close it fully.
If the boot lid is not closed correctly: -
when the engine is running ,
this warning lamp comes on,
accompanied by a message
on the multifunction screen
for a few seconds,
-
when the vehicle is moving (speed
above 6 mph (10 km/h)), this warning
lamp comes on, accompanied by an
audible signal and a message on the
multifunction screen for a few seconds.

VISIBILITY
INTERIOR MOOD LIGHTING
Different lighting times are available:
- when the ignition is off, approxi-mately ten minutes,
- in energy economy mode, ap- proximately thirty seconds,
- when the engine is running, no limit.
Y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h t w o b o o t l a m p s ;
one in the left-hand boot side trim and a
second in the boot lid interior trim.
They come on automatically when the
boot is opened and switch off automati-
cally when the boot is closed.
They cannot be deactivated manually.
INTERIOR WELCOME LIGHTING BOOT LIGHTING
The remote switching on of the passen-
ger compartment lighting makes your
entry into the vehicle easier in poor
light. It is activated in accordance with
the light intensity detected by the bright-
ness sensor.
Switching on
Press the open padlock on the re-
mote control.
The front door sill lighting, the footwell
lighting and the courtesy lamps come
on; your vehicle is also unlocked.
Switching off
The interior welcome lighting switches off
automatically after a set time or when one
of the doors is opened.
Programming
The dimmed passenger compartment
lighting improves visibility in the vehicle
when the light is poor.
Switching on
At night, the footwell lighting and the
front courtesy mood lamp come on
automatically when the sidelamps are
switched on.
Switching off
The interior mood lighting switches off
automatically when the sidelamps are
switched off.
Programming
The welcome lighting duration is
associated with and identical to
that of the automatic guide-me-
home lighting.
The function is activated or
deactivated via the multi-
f u n c t i o n s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a -
tion menu.
This function is activated
by default. The lighting duration is
selected via the multifunc-
t i o n s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a t i o n
menu.

Hooked onto the stowing rings, this en-
ables you to secure your luggage.
Luggage retaining net
Raise the boot carpet to gain access
to the storage box.
Hook the boot carpet on the boot
seal using its handle.
This has areas for storing the windstop
and two warning triangles.
By removing this box you gain access
to the temporary tyre repair kit and the
vehicle tools.

When the boot screen is unfolded,
check that the luggage:
- never raises it,
- is never placed on top of it.
The load space cover must always
be unfolded before a roof opening
manoeuvre is triggered (refer to the
"Familiarisation - § Opening" section).
