Pull the handle

wards to fold the seat back, then move
t h e s e a t f o r w a r d p u s h i n g t h e s e a t
back.

s e a t s m a n o e u v r e m a y b e l i m i t e d . I n
this case, the seat settings must be
a l t e r e d fi r s t .
T h e s e a t m u s t r e t u r n t o t h i s p o s i t i o n
for correct locking of the seat back.
Ensure that the seat back returns to its
p o s i t i o n c o r r e c t l y a n d n e v e r d r i v e w i t h
t h e s e a t b a c k d i s e n g a g e d ( f r e e o f a n y
m o v e m e n t ) .
I f t h e s e a t b a c k j a m s o n r e p o s i t i o n i n g ,
o p e r a t e t h e h a n d l e A again to release
i t a n d r e t u r n i t t o i t s i n i t i a l p o s i t i o n .

Head restraint height and angle
adjustment
To raise or lower the head restraint,
p u l l i t f o r w a r d s t h e n s l i d e i t .
To tilt the head restraint, tilt the lower
p a r t f o r w a r d s o r b a c k w a r d s .
To remove the head restraint, move it
a l m o s t t o t h e h i g h e s t p o s i t i o n , l i f t t h e
t a b u s i n g a c o i n a n d p u l l t h e h e a d r e -
s t r a i n t f o r w a r d s a n d u p w a r d s a t t h e
same time.
T o r e fi t t h e h e a d r e s t r a i n t , e n g a g e t h e
s t a l k s i n t h e h o l e s k e e p i n g i n l i n e w i t h
the seat back. Front seat active head restraint

I n t h e e v e n t o f a r e a r i m p a c t , t h e a c t i o n
o f t h e b o d y o n t h e s e a t b a c k m o v e s
t h e h e a d r e s t r a i n t f o r w a r d s a n d u p -
w a r d s p r e v e n t i n g t h e h e a d f r o m b e i n g
thrown backwards.

Push the control forwards or backwards
to slide the seat. Driver and passenger seat cushion
height and angle adjustment

Memorising driving positions
T h e e l e c t r i c a l a d j u s t m e n t s o f t h e d r i v -
er’s seat, steering wheel and exterior
mirrors are memorised.

rised using buttons M/1and M/2 . A n a u d i b l e s i g n a l c o n fi r m s t h a t a p o s i -
tion has been memorised.

Recalling a memorised driving
position
During access to the rear
s e a t s , t h e m e m o r i s i n g a n d r e -
c a l l i n g o f t h e d r i v i n g p o s i t i o n s
are deactivated.

Memorising using the controls on
the driver’s door
To memorise:
P l a c e t h e k e y i n t h e i g n i t i o n o n p o -
sition,
A d j u s t y o u r s e a t , s t e e r i n g w h e e l
and mirrors,
Press button M , then button 1 " fi r s t
d r i v i n g p o s i t i o n " o r b u t t o n 2 " s e c -
o n d d r i v i n g p o s i t i o n " w i t h i n f o u r
seconds. Ignition on, vehicle stationary
B r i e fl y p r e s s b u t t o n 1 or 2 to recall
t h e c o r r e s p o n d i n g m e m o r i s e d p o -
s i t i o n . T h e e n d o f t h e s e t t i n g i s i n -
d i c a t e d b y a b l e e p .
A f t e r r e c a l l i n g a m e m o r i s e d p o s i t i o n
a f e w t i m e s i n s u c c e s s i o n , t h e f u n c -
tion will be cancelled until the engine

detach them from their fastenings.

Transporting long objects
In exceptional circumstances , a rear
seat back can be folded without folding
the seat cushion 1 i n o r d e r t o t r a n s p o r t
long, light objects (risk of damage to
t h e s e a t c u s h i o n ) .
W h e n p u t t i n g t h e s e a t b a c k s
and the seat cushion back in
p l a c e , e n s u r e t h a t t h e y a r e
s e c u r e d c o r r e c t l y t o g u a r a n -
t e e y o u r s a f e t y a n d t a k e c a r e n o t t o
t r a p t h e s e a t b e l t s . W h e n t r a n s p o r t i n g l o n g o b -
j e c t s , d o n o t p l a c e a l o a d
weighing more than 30 kg on
the rear of the seat back.
D o n o t p l a c e b l u n t o b j e c t s o n t h e r e a r o f
the seat back as this could damage it.

jured or killed if the air bag were to

ADVICE ON CHILD SEATS
Children under the age of 10 must not

o n t h e f r o n t p a s s e n g e r s e a t , u n l e s s
t h e r e a r s e a t s a r e a l r e a d y o c c u p i e d b y
other children, cannot be used or are
absent.
D i s a r m t h e p a s s e n g e r a i r b a g * w h e n a
" r e a r f a c i n g " c h i l d s e a t i s i n s t a l l e d o n
the front seat.
Otherwise, the child would risk being
s e r i o u s l y i n j u r e d o r k i l l e d i f t h e a i r b a g
w e r e t o i n fl a t e . A s a s a f e t y p r e c a u t i o n , d o n o t l e a v e :

The incorrect installation of a child seat
i n a v e h i c l e c o m p r o m i s e s t h e c h i l d ' s

Remember to fasten the seat belts or
the child seat harness
keeping the
slack i n r e l a t i o n t o t h e c h i l d ' s b o d y to
a minimum , e v e n f o r s h o r t j o u r n e y s .
F o r o p t i m u m i n s t a l l a t i o n o f t h e " f o r -
w a r d f a c i n g " c h i l d s e a t , e n s u r e t h a t
the back of the child seat is in contact
with the back of the vehicle's seat and
that the head restraint does not cause
a n y d i s c o m f o r t .
If the head restraint has to be removed,
e n s u r e t h a t i t i s s t o r e d o r a t t a c h e d s e -
c u r e l y t o p r e v e n t i t f r o m b e i n g t h r o w n
a r o u n d t h e v e h i c l e i n t h e e v e n t o f s h a r p
braking. Installing a booster seat
T h e c h e s t p a r t o f t h e s e a t b e l t m u s t
b e p o s i t i o n e d o n t h e c h i l d ' s s h o u l d e r
without touching the neck.
E n s u r e t h a t t h e l a p p a r t o f t h e s e a t
b e l t p a s s e s c o r r e c t l y o v e r t h e c h i l d ' s
thighs.
PEUGEOT recommends the use of
a b o o s t e r s e a t w h i c h h a s a b a c k , fi t -
ted with a seat belt guide at shoulder
level.
