Safety anti-pinch
Am anti-pinch system stops the closing of the
roof, whether slidin
g or from the raised at the
rear position. If the sunroof encounters an
o
bstacle it par tially opens again.
If the sunroof fails to close at a second attempt,
it may be necessary to force the closing of thesunroof using the reinitialisation procedure.

Reinitialising the system
Following reconnection of the battery, or in
the event of a malfunction in its operation, it
may be necessary to reinitialise the system:
) turn the dial to the right to raise the sunroof
at the rear,
) wait until the sunroof is fully up at the rear,)
then immediately press the dial for at least3 seconds.

I
f the sunroof opens on its own when closing,as soon as possible after the sunroof stops:
- put the dial in the fully closed position,
- press the dial,
- maintain pressure on the dial until the
sunroof closes.The anti-pinch function is inoperative during these operations.

The driver should ensure that passengers use the sunroof correctly. Be aware of children when operatingthe sunroof.

Access
Your vehicle is fitted with a tinted glass panoramicsunroof which increases the light and visibilityin the passenger compartment. Its electric blind helps control the temperature and noise level in
the passenger compartment.
The blind is controlled electrically by a rotaryopening dial.

Opening

Turn the dial to the left (several possible
opening settings).


Safety anti-pinch

If the blind encounters an obstacle duringclosing, it stops and par tially opens again to
the 2nd position.
If the blind fails to close at a second attempt,
it ma
y be necessary to force the closing of
the blind using the reinitialisation procedure.



Closing

Return the dial to the initial position.
If the position of the blind does not agree with
the position indicated by the dial, press the dial
to open the blind to this position.
Electric blind

In the event of contact during operationof the blind, you must reverse its movement. To do this, turn the dial. When the driver operates the dial, theymust ensure that nothing prevents theblind from closing correctly.
The driver must ensure that the passengers use the blind correctly.
Be aware of children during operationof the blind.


Reinitialising the system


Following reconnection of the battery, or in the event of a malfunction in its operation, it may be
necessary to reinitialise the system: ) turn the dial to the fully open position, )
wait until the blind is fully open,

then immediately press the dial for at least3 seconds.

f the blind opens on its own when closing,

Fuel tank Capacity of the tank: approximately 72 litres(or 55 litres according to version).

Additions of fuel must be of at least 5 litres tobe registered by the fuel gauge.Opening the filler cap may result in an inrush of air. This vacuum is entirely normal and results
from the sealing of the fuel system.) Take care to select the pump that delivers
the correct fuel type for your vehicle'sengine (reminder on a label on the inside of
the filler flap).) Open the filler cap by turning it a 1/4 turn to
the left. ) Remove the filler cap and hang it on its
carrier (on the filler flap).


Opening
If you have put in the wrong fuel for your vehicle, you must have havethe tank drained and refilled with the correct fuel before you start the engine.
With Stop & Star t, never refuel with the system in STOP mode; you must switchoff the ignition with the key.

- Pr
ess the switch.
This control remains active for a fewminutes after switching off the ignition.If necessary, switch the ignition on again to reactivate it.

Refuelling
)
Introduce the nozzle and push it in fully
(pushing on the the metal non-return
valve A). A) Fill the tank. Do not continue past the thirdcut-off of the nozzle, as this may cause malfunctions. )
Refit the filler cap turning it a 1/4 turn to
the right. ) Push the filler flap to close it.

Your vehicle is
fitted with a catalytic converter,
a device which helps to reduce the level of
harmful emissions in the exhaust gases.
For petrol engines, you must useunleaded fuel only. The filler neck is narrower, admitting petrol
nozzles only.

Low fuel level
When the low fuel level in the tank isreached, this warning lamp comes on in the instrument panel, accompanied by an audible warning and a message
in the instrument panel screen.
When it first comes on, around 7 litres of fuelremain in the tank.
You must refuel as soon as possible to avoid
running out.
Fuel supply cut-off
Your vehicle is equipped with a safety device
which cuts off the fuel supply in the event of a collision.


It is still possible to use a fuel can to fill
the tank but this must be done slowly. In order to ensure a good flow of fuel, do not place the nozzle of the fuel canin direct contact with the flap of themisfuel prevention device.


Diesel misfuel prevention

Mechanical device which prevents filling the tank of a Diesel vehicle with petrol. It avoids the risk of engine damage that can result from filling with the wrong fuel.
Located in the filler neck, the misfuel prevention device appears when the filler cap is removed.
When a petrol
filler nozzle is introduced into the fuel filler neck of your Diesel vehicle, it comes
into contact with the flap. The system remains
closed and prevents filling. Do not persist but introduce a Diesel filler
nozzle.

Operation



Tr a v e l l i ng abroad
As Diesel fuel pump nozzles may be different
in other countries, the presence of the misfuel prevention device may make refuellingimpossible.
Before travelling abroad, we recommend that you check with the PEUGEOT dealer network,
whether your vehicle is suitable for the fuelpumps in the country in which you want to
travel.

DIESEL
Access
Quality of the fuel used for
petrol engines

The petrol engines are perfectly compatible
with E10 or E24 type petrol biofuels (containing10 % or 24 % ethanol), conforming to Europeanstandards EN 228 and EN 15376.
E85 type fuels (containing up to 85 % ethanol)
are reser ved exclusively for vehicles marketed
for the use of this type of fuel (BioFlex
vehicles). The quality of the ethanol mustcomply with European standard EN 15293.
For Brazil only, special vehicles are marketed
to run on
fuels containing up to 100 % ethanol(E10 0 t y p e).
Quality of the fuel used for
Diesel engines
The Diesel engines are perfectly compatiblewith biofuels which conform to current and future European standards (Diesel fuel which complies with standard EN 590 mixed with a
biofuel which complies with standard EN 14214)available at the pumps (containing up to 7 % Fatty Acid Methyl Ester).
The B30 biofuel can be used in cer tain Diesel
engines; however, this use is subject to strictapplication of the special ser vicing conditions.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualifiedworkshop.
The use of any other type of (bio)fuel (vegetable or animal oils, pure or diluted,
domestic fuel...) is strictly prohibited (risk of
damage to the engine and fuel system).

Storing driving positions
System which stores the electrical settings of
the driver's seat and door mirrors as well as
the head-up display settings. It enables you to store up to two positions using the buttons on
the side of the driver's seat.

Storing a position using buttons M/1/2

Switch on the ignition. )
Adjust your seat, the door mirrors and the
head-up display.
) Press button M
, then press button 1or 2within four seconds.
An audible signal indicates that the position
has been stored.
Storing a new position cancels the previous
position.
Recalling a stored position

An audible signal indicates the end of the
adjustment.
You can interrupt the current movement bypressing button M, 1 or 2
or by using one of theseat controls.
A stored position cannot be recalled while
driving.
Recalling stored positions is deactivated
45 seconds after switching off the ignition.
Welcome function
The welcome function assists entry and leaving
th
e vehicle.
After switching off the ignition and opening
the driver’s door, the seat moves back
automaticall
y and then stays in this position,
ready for the next entry to the vehicle.
When switching on the ignition, the seat movesfor ward to the stored driving position.
When moving the seat, take care that no person or object hinders the automatic movement of the seat.
To activate or deactivate this function, contact a
PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.

Head restraint height and angleadjustment
)To lower the head restraint, press the lug Aand, going beyond the stiff point, guide the head restraint downwards, then release the
button at the desired position.
)To raise the head restraint, guide it
upwards to the desired position.)To remove the head restraint, press the
two lugs B and pull the head restraint
upwards.)To put the head restraint back in place, engage the head restraint stems in the
openings keeping them in line with the seat
back. Check that it has engaged by pulling
it upwards.

The head restraint is fitted with a locking mechanism which prevents itfrom lowering; this is a safety device in case of impact. The adjustment is correct when the upper edge of the head restraintis level with the top of the head.Never drive with the head restraints removed; they must be in place andadjusted correctly.

Heated seats control

With the engine running, the front seats can be
heated separately.) Use the adjustment dial to switch on andselect the level of heating required: 0

High.

Comfort
This function provides the driver with a backmassage. It only operates when the engine is running as well as in STOP mode of the Stop &Start system.

Activation
)
Press this button.

The warning lamp comes on and the massagefunction is activated for a period of 1 hour. During this time, massage is performed incycles of 6 minutes (4 minutes of massage
followed by 2 minutes break). In total, the
system will per form 10 cycles.
After one hour, the function is deactivated, the
warning lamp goes off.


Deactivation
You can deactivate the massage function at any time by pressing thisbutton.
