TheprogrammableHomeLinkreplacesuptothreeoriginalhand-heldtransmittersusedtooperatevariousdevices(e.g.garagedoor,gatetotheproperty,alarmsystem).
Youcanprogrambuttons1to3withafrequencyofanoriginalhandheldtransmitter.
Warning!
RiskofaccidentwhenusingtheHomeLinkifpersons,animalsorobjectsarewithintherangeofmovementoftheequipmentthatisbeingoperated.
WhenusingtheHomeLink,ensurethatnopersons,animalsorobjectsarewithintherangeofmovementoftheequipmentthatisbeingoperated.
Observethesafetynotesfortheoriginalhand-heldtransmitter.
Preconditionsforoperatingand
programmingtheHomeLink:
–Ignitionisswitchedon.
–Foglightsareswitchedoff.
Tooperatetherespectivedevice:
Presstheappropriatebutton(1,2or3).Light-emittingdiodeAlightsupduringsignaltransfer.
Noteonoperation
AlwaysusetheHomeLinkopenerinthedirec-tionoftravel.Otherwise,rangerestrictionscannotberuledout.
Beforesellingthevehicle,deletethepro-grammedsignalsoftheHomeLink.
Pleasereadtheinstructionsfortheoriginalhand-heldtransmittertofindoutwhethertheoriginaltransmitterisequippedwithfixedorchangeablecode.

Allocatingsignalstothebuttons
PriortoprogrammingtheHomeLinkforthe
rsttime
Pleasefollowtheoperatinginstructionsfortheoriginalhand-heldtransmitter.
Thefollowingprocessdeletesthestandardcodessetatthefactory.Donotrepeattheprocessifyouprogramfurtherbuttons.
Keepthetwoouterbuttons1and3depressedforapprox.20secondsuntillight-emittingdiodeAbeginstoflashquick-ly.Allprogrammedsignalsofbuttons1to3aredeleted.
HomeLinkwithxedcodesystem
1.Pressthedesiredbuttonuntilthelight-emittingdiodebeginstoflashslowly.Youthenhaveapprox.5minutestoperformsteps2and3.
2.Holdtheoriginalhand-heldtransmitterapprox.0in.to12in.(0to30cm)infrontofthemarkedposition(figure)onthevehicle.
3.Pressthetransmitbuttonontheoriginalhand-heldtransmitteruntilthefoglightsflashthreetimes(uptoapprox.45seconds).
4.Repeatsteps1to3toallocateotherbuttons.
Note
Severalattemptswithdifferentdistancesbetweenthevehicleandtheoriginalhand-heldtransmittermightbenecessary.
Thefoglightswillflashoncethe5minuteshavebeenexceeded.Programmingmustberepeatedfromthebeginning.

1.Allocatetherequiredkeysasforthesystemswithfixedcode(steps1to3).
2.Tosynchronisethesystem:Pressthepro-grammingbuttononthereceiverforthegaragedooractuator.Afterwards,youusu-allyhaveapprox.30secondstoinitiatestep3.
3.PresstheallocatedHomeLinkbuttontwice.(Withsomedevices,thebuttontobeallocatedmustbepressedathirdtimeinordertocompletethesettingprocess.)
4.Repeattheprogrammingstepstoallocateotherbuttons.

PleaseconsultyourauthorizedPorschedealerifyouhavenotbeenabletosuccessfullyallocatesignalsforthegaragedooropenertothebuttonseventhoughyouhavecarefullyfollowedtheinstructionsinthischapterandtheoperatinginstructionsfortheoriginalhand-heldtransmitter.
Toreprogramasinglebutton:
1.Pressthedesiredbuttonuntilthelight-emittingdiodebeginstoflashslowly(approx.20seconds).Youthenhaveapprox.5minutestoperformsteps2and3.
2.Holdtheoriginalhand-heldtransmitterapprox.0to30cminfrontofthemarkedposition(figure)onthevehicle.
3.Pressthetransmitbuttonontheoriginalhand-heldtransmitteruntilthefoglightsflashthreetimes(uptoapprox.45seconds).
