Donotadjustseatswhilethevehicleisinmotion.Thebackrestlocksmustbeengagedatalltimeswhilethevehicleisinmotion.

Safetybeltsonlyofferprotectionwhenthebackrestisuprightandthebeltsareproperlypositionedonthebody.Improperlypositionedsafetybeltsorsafetybeltswornbypassengersinanexcessivelyreclinedpositioncancauseseriouspersonalinjuryordeathinanaccident.
Donotoperatethecarwiththedriverorpassengerbackrestsexcessivelyreclined(see“Seatposition”).

Inthecabriolet,thewindstopmaybedam-agedduringseatadjustmentandwhenfoldingbackthefront-seatbackrest.
Adjustseatsothattheseatbackrestdoesnottouchthewindstop.
Seatposition
Anergonomicallycorrectsittingpositionisimportantforsafeandfatigue-freedriving.Werecommendthefollowingprocedureforadjustingthedriver’sseattosuitindividualrequirements:
1.Vehicleswithmanualtransmission:Adjusttheseatuntil,withtheclutchpedalfullydepressed,yourlegremainsataslightangle.VehicleswithTiptronicS:Adjusttheseatuntil,withyourleftfootonthefootrest,yourleftlegremainsataslightangle.
2.Restyouroutstretchedarmonthesteeringwheel.Setthebackrestangleandthesteer-ing-wheelpositionsothatyourwristrestsontheouterrimofthesteeringwheel.Atthesametime,theshouldersmuststillbeinnoticeablecontactwiththebackrest.
3.Adjusttheseatheighttogiveyourselfenoughheadroomandagoodoverviewofthevehicle.
4.Electricallyadjustableseat:Adjusttheseatangleuntilyourthighsrestlightlyontheseatcushion.

Generalinformation
Thewindstopisstowedinaprotectivebagintheluggagecompartment.
TheprotectivebagisfastenedwithaVelcrostripintheluggagecompartment.
Caution!
Riskofdamagetothewindstop
Makesurethatthewindstopisnotdamagedbyitemsofluggageorobjectsintheluggagecompartment.
Donotplaceanyobjectsonthewindstop.
Donotstoreanysharp-edgedobjectsundertheinstalledwindstop.
Donotdamagethewindstopduringseatadjustmentandwhenfoldingbackthefront-seatbackrests.Adjustseatsothattheseatbackrestdoesnottouchthewindstop.
Donotfolduptherearseatbackrestswiththewindstopinstalled.
Removewindstopbeforefittingahardtop.
Installingthewindstop
1.Openzipperoftheprotectivebag.Takethewindstopoutoftheluggagecompartment.
2.Foldtherearseatbackrestsforward.

3.Unfoldthewindstopuntilitcanbefelttoengageinthehingesatthetopandbottom.
