Console boxes
Front Lift the lid while pulling the lever.
Rear Lift the lid while pulling the lever.
■When using the front console box lid as an armrest
If necessary, the console box lid can slide
forward. Pull the lid forward by grasping
the front of the lid.

Overhead consoleThe overhead console is useful
for temporarily storing sun-
glasses and similar small items.
■Tray in the front console box
CAUTION

Keep the console box closed.

The tray slides forward/backward and can
be removed.

Do not leave glasses or lighters in the console.
If the interior of the vehicle becomes hot, lighters may explode and glasses
may warp or become cracked.

Do not leave the overhead console open. Items may fall out and cause
injury.

Front To open, press down and
release the cup holder lid.
Rear (type A) Pull down the armrest.

Door pocketsThe front door pocket can be
opened and closed.
CAUTION
■Items unsuitable for the cup holder
Do not place anything other than cups or aluminum cans in the cup holders.
Other items may be thrown out of the holders in the event of an accident or
sudden braking and cause injury. If possible, cover hot drinks to prevent
burns.
■ When not in use
Keep the cup holders closed. Injuries may result in the event of an accident
or sudden braking.

Clock
■The clock is displayed when
Vehicles with smart key system
The “ENGINE START STOP” switch is in ACCESSORY or IGNITION ON
mode. Vehicles without smart key system
The engine switch is in the “ACC” or “ON” position.
■ When the battery is disconnected
The time display will automatically be set to 1:00.
Without navig ation system
Adjust the hour
Adjust the minutes
Rounds to the nearest hour
With navigation system

Outside temperature display
■Operating conditions
Vehicles with smart key system
The “ENGINE START STOP” switch is in IGNITION ON mode.
Vehicles without smart key system
The engine switch is in the “ON” position.
■ When “--”, “F” or “E” is displayed
The system may be malfunctioning. Take your vehicle to your Toyota dealer.
■ Display
In the following situations, the correct outside temperature may not be dis-
played, or the display may take longer than normal to change.
● When stopped, or driving at low speeds (less than 12 mph [20 km/h])
● When the outside temperature has changed suddenly (at the entrance/
exit of a garage, tunnel, etc.)
The displayed temperature ranges from -22°F (-30°C) up to 122°F
(50°C).
