*1: Estas luzes acendem quando colocar o interruptor Power no modo IGNI-
ÇÃO LIGADA para indicar que está a ser efetuada a verificação a um sis-
tema. As luzes apagam depois de colocar o sistema híbrido em
funcionamento ou após alguns segundos. Se a luz não acender ou não
apagar, poderá existir uma avaria num sistema. Leve o seu veículo a um
concessionário Toyota autorizado, reparador Toyota autorizado ou a qual-
quer reparador da sua confiança para que este proceda a uma verificação.
*2: Esta luz acende quando desligar o sistema.
*3: Esta luz pisca para indicar que o sistema está em funcionamento.
*4: Esta luz acende no painel central.
*5: Quando a temperatura exterior for igual ou inferior a 3°C, este indicador pisca
durante, cerca de, 10 segundos e depois fica permanentemente aceso.

Mudar para o modo de condução EV quando o motor a gasolina estiver frio
Se colocar o sistema híbrido em funcionamento enquanto o motor a gasolina
estiver frio, o motor a gasolina entra automaticamente em funcionamento
pouco tempo depois para aquecer. Neste caso não é possível mudar para o
modo de condução EV.
Depois do sistema híbrido entrar em funcionamento e o indicador “READY”
acender, prima o interruptor do modo de condução EV antes do motor a
gasolina entrar em funcionamento para mudar para o modo de condução EV.
Cancelamento automático do modo de condução EV
Durante a condução no modo EV, o motor a gasolina pode reiniciar automati-
camente nas situações que se seguem. Quando o modo de condução EV é
cancelado ouve-se um sinal sonoro e o indicador do modo de condução EV
pisca e apaga-se.
A bateria do sistema híbrido (bateria de tração) está fraca.
Quando o nível de carga restante da bateria indicado no monitor de energia
estiver baixo. (P. 148)
A velocidade do veículo é elevada.
O pedal do acelerador está a ser pressionado firmemente ou o veículo está
numa subida íngreme, etc.
Quando for possível informar previamente o condutor do cancelamento automá-
tico, será exibido um ecrã correspondente no mostrador de informações múltiplas.
Distância possível de condução quando estiver no modo EV
No modo de condução EV é possível conduzir distâncias que vão de algumas
centenas de metros até cerca de 1 km. No entanto, dependendo das condi-
ções do veículo, em algumas situações não será possível utilizar o modo de
condução EV. (A distância que é possível conduzir depende do nível da bateria
do sistema híbrido [bateria de tração] e das condições de condução.)
Economia de combustível
O sistema híbrido foi concebido para ter a melhor economia de combustível
possível durante uma condução normal (utilizando o motor a gasolina e o
motor elétrico [motor de tração]). Se conduzir no modo de condução EV mais
do que o necessário pode comprometer a economia de combustível.
Se a indicação “EV Mode Unavailable” (“Modo EV indisponível”) for
apresentada no mostrador de informações múltiplas
O modo de condução EV não está disponível. O motivo pelo qual o modo EV
não está disponível (motor ao ralenti, carga baixa da bateria, velocidade do
modo EV superior à gama de velocidade do modo EV ou pedal do acelerador
demasiado pressionado) pode ser visualizado. Utilize o modo de condução
EV quando este ficar disponível.
Se a indicação “EV Mode Deactivated” (“Modo EV desativado”) for apre-
sentada no mostrador de informações múltiplas
O modo de condução EV foi cancelado automaticamente. O motivo pelo qual
o modo EV não está disponível (carga baixa da bateria, velocidade do modo
EV superior à gama de velocidade do modo EV ou pedal do acelerador
demasiado pressionado) pode ser visualizado. Conduza o veículo durante
algum tempo antes de tentar utilizar novamente o modo de condução EV.

Modo normal
Utilizado para uma condução normal.
Enquanto estiver no modo de condução Eco ou “Sport” (desportivo), pres-
sione o interruptor para alterar o modo de condução para o modo normal.
Modo de condução Eco
Utilize o modo de condução Eco para um baixo consumo de com-
bustível numa viagem que envolva aceleração frequente.
Quando pressionar o interruptor “ECO”, o indicador “ECO MODE” acende
no agrupamento de instrumentos.
Modo “Sport” (Desportivo)
Utilize o modo desportivo quando pretender uma maior resposta de
aceleração e uma manobrabilidade precisa, por exemplo durante a
condução em estradas montanhosas.
Quando pressionar o interruptor “ECO”, o indicador “SPORT” acende no
agrupamento de instrumentos.

?The wireless charger can be operated when
The power switch is in ACCESSORY or ON mode.
?Portable devices that can be charged
?Portable devices compatible with the Qi wireless charging standard can be
charged by the wireless charger. However, compatibility with all devices

?The wireless charger is designed to supply low power electricity (5 W or
less) to a cellular phone, smartphone, or other portable device.
?However, portable devices, such as the following, can be charged with more
than 5 W.
• 7.5 W charging compatible iPhones can be charged at 7.5 W or less.
• Portable devices which conform to WPC Ver 1.2.4 can be charged at 10
W or less.
?Using the smart entry & start system
During charging, when the smart entry & start system searches for an elec-
tronic key, charging may be temporarily suspended.
?If a cover or accessory is attached to the portable device
Do not charge a portable device if a cover or accessory which is not Qi com-
patible is attached. Depending on the type of cover and/or accessory
attached, it may not be possible to charge the portable device. If the portable
device is placed on the charging area and does not charge, remove the cover
and/or accessories.
?If interference is heard in AM radio broadcasts while charging
?Turn off the wireless charger and check if the noise is reduced. If noise is
reduced, press and hold the power supply switch of the wireless charger for
2 seconds. The frequency of the wireless charger is changed and noise may
be reduced. When the frequency is changed, the operation indicator light
will blink (orange) 2 times.
?Rapid charging for iPhones is performed using a specific radio wave fre-
quency.
Depending on the version of iOS installed, while the frequency is being
changed, rapid charging may not be performed.
?Charging precautions
While charging, the wireless charger and the portable device will become
warm. This is not a malfunction.
If a portable device becomes warm while charging and charging stops due to
the protection function of the portable device, wait until the portable device
cools down and charge it again.
Also, to decrease the temperature inside the wireless charger, a fan may
operate. This does not indicate a malfunction.

?Sound generated during operation
Operation sounds may be heard when the power supply switch is pressed to
turn the wireless charger on, when the power switch is pressed to change to
ACCESSORY or ON mode while the wireless charger is on, or when a porta-
ble device is being detected. This does not indicate a malfunction.
?Situations in which the wireless charger may not operate correctly
In the following situations, the wireless charger may not operate correctly:
?When a portable device is fully charged
?When a portable device is being charged by a wired connection.
?When there is foreign matter between the charging area and portable device
?When the temperature of a portable device becomes high while charging
?When the temperature near the charging tray is 95°F (35°C) or more due to
being in direct sunlight, etc.
?When a portable device is placed with its charging surface facing up
?When a portable device is not centered on the charging area
?When a portable device is larger than the charging tray
?When a foldable portable device is placed outside of the charging area
?When the vehicle is near a TV tower, electric power plant, fuel station, radio
station, large display, airport, or other facility that generates strong radio
waves or electrical noise
?When the any of the following objects, with a thickness of 0.08 in. (2 mm) or
more, are between the charging surface of a portable device and the
charging area:
• Thick cases or covers
• Thick decorations
• Accessories, such as finger rings, straps, etc.
?When the portable device is in contact with, or is covered by any of the fol-
lowing metallic objects:
• Cards covered with metal, such as aluminum foil
• Cigarette boxes that have aluminum foil inside
• Metallic wallets or bags
• Coins
• Heat packs
• Recorded media such as CDs and DVDs
• Metallic decorations
• Metallic cases or covers
?When wireless keys (that emit radio waves) other than those of your vehicle
are being used nearby
?When 2 or more portable devices are placed on the charging tray at the
same time
In situations other than above, if the wireless charger does not operate prop-
erly or the operation indicator light blinks continuously, the wireless charger
may be malfunctioning.

Interior features
?The rear sunshade can be used when the power switch is in ON mode.
?The rear sunshade can be operated for approximately 1 minute even after
the power switch is turned off.
?Reverse operation feature: To ensure adequate rear visibility, the rear sun-
shade automatically lowers when the shift lever is shifted to R.
However, the rear sunshade is raised again if any of the following occurs:
• The button is pressed again.
• The shift lever is shifted into P.
• The shift lever is shifted out of R, and the vehicle reaches a speed of 15
km/h (9 mph).
• The power switch is turned off.
?The reverse operation feature may not work under some conditions. In such
cases, press the switch to extend/retract the rear sunshade.
?The rear control panel will turn off if it is not touched for approximately 10
seconds.
?Changing the settings of the rear control panel (P. 386)
WARNING
When the rear sunshade is being operated, do not place fingers or other
objects in the fastener section or in the opening. They may get caught,
causing injury.
NOTICE
?To prevent 12-volt battery discharge, do not operate the rear sunshade
when the hybrid system is off.
?Observe the following precautions to ensure normal operation of the rear
sunshade.
• Do not place excessive load on the motor or other components of the
rear sunshade.
• Do not place objects where they may hinder opening and closing opera-
tions.
• Do not attach items to the rear sunshade.
• Keep the opening clean and clear of obstructions.
• Do not operate the rear sunshade continuously for long periods of time.

Não acione o sistema de inicialização do aviso da pressão dos pneus sem
antes ter ajustado a pressão dos pneus para um nível especificado. De
outro modo, a luz de aviso da pressão dos pneus pode não acender
mesmo que a pressão dos pneus esteja baixa ou pode acender quando a
