back so that you are sitting
straight up and so that you do
not have to lean forward to

*3: These lights turn on when the engine switch is turned to the “ON” position
(vehicles without a smart key system) or IGNITION ON mode (vehicles
with a smart key system) to indicate that a system check is being per-
formed. They will turn off after the engine is started, or after a few seconds.
There may be a malfunction in a system if a light does not come on, or if
the lights do not turn off. Have the vehicle inspected by your Toyota dealer.

*6: In order to confirm operation, the BSM outside rear view mirror indicators
illuminate in the following situations:
• When the engine switch is turned to the “ON” position (vehicles without a smart key system) or IGNITION ON mode (vehicles with a smart ke y sys-
tem) while the BSM function is turned on.
• When the BSM function is turned on while the engine switch is in the
“ON” position (vehicles without a smart key system) or IGNITION ON
mode (vehicles with a smart key system).
If the system is functioning correctly, the BSM outside rear vi ew mirror indi-
cators will turn off after a few seconds.
If the BSM outside rear view mirror indicators do not illuminat e or do not
turn off, there may be a malfunction in the system.
If this occurs, have the vehicle inspected by your Toyota deale r.
*7: This light illuminates on the outside rear view mirrors.
*8: The light does not turn on when the system is disabled.
*9: This light illuminates on the center panel.
■Eco Driving Indicator Light
●The vehicle is set to power mode. ( P. 234)
● The vehicle speed is approximately 80 mph (130 km/h) or higher.
During Eco-friendly acceleration (Eco
driving), Eco Driving Indicator Light will
turn on. When the acceleration pedal is
depressed excessively, or when the vehi-
cle is stopped, the light turns off.
Eco Driving Indicator Light will not operate
in the following conditions:

■If a safety system warning light does not come on
Should a safety system light such as the ABS and SRS warning lights not
come on when you start the engine, this could mean that these s ystems are
not available to help protect you in an accident, which could r esult in death
or serious injury. Have the vehicle inspected by your Toyota de aler immedi-
ately if this occurs.

●Speed limit display (if equipped)
Select to set the display of speed limit information stored in the nav-
igation system to on with the speed limit caution indicator (ye llow)
enabled, on with the speed limit caution not enabled, or off. If
enabled, the speed limit caution indicator will come on if the vehicle
speed exceeds the di splayed speed limit.
The display may not be available for some regions.
●BSM (Blind Spot Mon itor) (if equipped)
The brightness of the outside rear view mirror indicators can b e
adjusted. ( P. 548)
● RCTA (Rear Cross Traffic Alert buzzer) (if equipped)
The buzzer sound volum e can be adjusted. (P. 548)
● Maintenance Reset
Select to reset the maintenance data ( P. 3 9 9 )
● Initialization
Registered or cha nged meter settings will be deleted or returne d to
their default setting.
■ Pop-up display
In some situations, such as when a switch operation is performe d, a pop-up
display, such as the operating shift position, will be temporar ily displayed on
the multi-information display.
The pop-up display function can be set on/off. ( P. 540)
■ Setting display automatic cancelation
In the following situations, setting display in which the settings can be
changed through the meter control switch will automatically be turned off.
● If a warning message appears while the setting display is displ ayed
● When the vehicle begins to move while the setting display is displayed
■ Liquid crystal display
Small spots or light spots may appear on the display. This phen omenon is
characteristic of liquid crystal displays, and there is no prob lem continuing to
use the display.

Operation of each component
Driving position memor y
The seat is automatically adjusted to allow the driver to enter and exit
the vehicle easily.
When all of the following have
been performed, the driver’s seat
is automatically adjusted to a
position that allows driver to enter
and exit the vehicle easily. • The shift lever has been shifted to P.
• The engine switch has been turned off.
• The driver’s seat belt has been unfastened.
When any of the following has been performed, the driver’s seat will
automatically return to their original positions. • The engine switc h has been turned to ACCESSORY mode.
• The driver’s seat belt has been fastened.
■ Operation of the power easy access system
When exiting the vehicle, the power easy access system may not operate if
the seat is already close to the rearmost position, etc.

This feature automatically adjusts the driver’s seat and outsid e
rear view mirrors to m ake entering and exiting the vehicle easi er
or to suit your preferences.
