Luggage compartment features
■Cargo hooks
Cargo hooks are provided for
securing loose items.
■ Dual-level deck board (if equipped)
The position of the dual-level
deck board can be changed

Secure the rear deck board,
using the strap hook provided.
Remove the strap hook
Secure the hook

Pull the side deck boards
while pushing the knob.
■ Luggage cover (if equipped)
Pull out the luggage cover and
hook it on the anchors.
If necessary, move the second
seats back.

Lowering the dual-level deck board
Lift the rear deck board and pull
it back slightly.
Install the deck board to the
lower position by sliding the front
edge down and forward, as
shown in the illustration.
Removing luggage cover
The luggage cover can be removed by following the procedure
below.
Push in the left side of the lug-
gage cover while keeping hold of
the right side. Then raise the
right side and pull the luggage
cover out.

Changing the position of the luggage cover
Pattern A
Insert the left end of the lug-
gage cover into the hole.
Compress the right end of the
luggage cover and insert it into
the hole.

Stowing the luggage cover
Type A
Lift the rear deck board.
Secure the rear deck board
using the hook.
Remove the side deck boards.

Turn the luggage cover upside
down so that the “TOP” mark on
the end faces down.
Place the left end of the luggage
cover in the hole on the left side
and then lower the right end into
the hole on the right side.
Pull the deck board down to close.

Folding down the third seats. ( P. 9 0 )
Fold in the outer sections of
the deck board.
Open the deck board.
Turn the luggage cover upside
down so that the “TOP” mark on
the end faces down.

Place the left end of the luggage
cover in the hole on the left side
and then lower the right end into
the hole on the right side.
Pull the deck board down to close.
WARNING
■ When the cargo hooks are not in use
To avoid injury, always return the cargo hooks to their stowed positions.
■ Caution while driving
Keep the auxiliary box closed. In the event of sudden braking or sudden
swerving, an accident may occur due to an occupant being struck by an
open auxiliary box or the items stored inside.
■ Caution for the luggage cover
Do not allow children to climb on the luggage cover. Climbing on the luggage
cover could result in damage to the luggage cover, possibly causing death or
serious injury to the child.
