Tachometer
Displays the engine speed in revolutions per minute.
Outside temperature display
Displays the outside temperature within the range of -40°C (-40°F) to 50°C
(122°F). Low outside temperature indicator comes on when the ambient
temperature is 3°C (37°F) or lower.
Shift position and shift range display (if equipped)
Displays the selected shift position or selected shift range. (P. 252)
Clock
Displays the current time. (→P. 125)
Speedometer
Displays the vehicle speed.
Fuel gauge
Displays the quantity of fuel remaining in the tank.

of driving-related data including the clock.

Eco Driving Indicator Light can be activated or deactivated by press-
ing the display change button when the Eco Driving Indicator Light
customization display is displayed.
To change the Eco Driving Indicator Light customization display, display the
odometer and press and hold the display change button until the display
changes.
After customization, press the display change button for more than 2 sec-
onds to return to the odometer.
The clock can be adjusted by pressing the buttons.

■When disconnecting and reconnecting battery terminals
The following information data will be reset:
● Stop & Start system total operation time (if equipped)
● Average fuel consumption
● Driving range
● Average vehicle speed
● Clock data
■ Liquid crystal display
Small spots or light spots may appear on the display. This phenomenon is
characteristic of liquid crystal display, and there is no problem continuing to
use the display.
■ Changing the pre-crash warning timing

WARNING
■The information display at low temperatures
Allow the interior of the vehicle to warm up before using the liquid crystal
information display. At extremely low temperatures, the display monitor may
respond slowly, and display changes may be delayed.
For example, there is a lag between the driver’s shifting and the new gear
number appearing on the display. This lag could cause the driver to down-
shift again, causing rapid and exce ssive engine braking and possibly an
accident resulting in death or injury.
■ Cautions during setting up the display
As the engine needs to be running during setting up the display, ensure that
the vehicle is parked in a place with adequate ventilation. In a closed area
such as a garage, exhaust gases including harmful carbon monoxide (CO)
may collect and enter the vehicle. This may lead to death or a serious
health hazard.

For functions that can be enabled or disabled, the function switches
between on and off each time is pressed.

• Notification method (excess speed/other warnings)
Select to change the notification method of the following warnings to no
notification/display only/display and buzzer.
Excess speed warning:
Warns the driver if the vehicle exceeds the speed displayed on the
speed limit sign on the multi-information display.
Other warnings:
Warns the driver if the system determines that the vehicle is overtaking
when a no overtaking sign is displayed on the multi-information display.
• Excess speed notification level
Select to set the speed threshold over which the excess speed warning
starts to operate when a speed limit sign is displayed on the multi-infor-
mation display.
●Clock
Adjusts the hour and minute, and switches between 12-hour and
24-hour display of the clock. (P. 133)

IGNITION ON mode (vehicles with a smart entry & start system).
• Adjustments may be suspended when a pop-up display, etc., appears
during the adjustments.
The currently displayed time may be set.

■Pop-up display
In some situations, such as when a switch operation is performed, a pop-up
display will be temporarily displayed on the multi-information display.
The pop-up display function can be set on/off.
■Setting display automatic cancelation
“Settings” item in settings display is not selectable during driving and cannot
be operated. Also, the settings screen is temporarily canceled in the following
situations.
●A warning message is displayed.
●The vehicle starts off.
■Liquid crystal display

The drive information and clock data will be reset.
■Eco Driving Indicator Zone Display (vehicles with a Multidrive)
Eco Driving Indicator Light will not operate in the following conditions:
●The shift lever is in anything other than D.
●The vehicle is being driven in “SPORT” mode. (P. 253)
●The paddle shift switch is operated while the shift lever in D.
●The vehicle speed is approximately 130 km/h (80 mph) or higher. Suggests Zone of Eco driving and Eco
driving ratio based on acceleration.

Your vehicle will handle differently when towing a trailer. In order to
avoid accident, death or serious injury, keep the following in mind
when towing:
■Checking connections between trailer and lights
Stop the vehicle and check the operation of the connection between
the trailer and lights after driving for a brief period as well as before
starting off.
■Practicing driving with a coupled trailer
●Get the feel for turning, stopping and reversing with the trailer
coupled by practicing in an area with no or light traffic.
●When reversing with a coupled trailer, hold the section of the
steering wheel nearest to you and rotate clockwise to turn the
trailer left or counterclockwise to turn it right. Always rotate a little
at a time to prevent steering error. Have someone guide you
when reversing to lessen the risk of an accident.
■Increasing vehicle-to-vehicle distance
At a speed of 10 km/h (6 mph), the distance to the vehicle running
ahead of you should be equivalent to or greater than the combined
length of your vehicle and trailer. Avoid sudden braking that may
cause skidding. Otherwise, the vehicle may spin out of control. This
is especially true when driving on wet or slippery road surfaces.
■Sudden acceleration/steering input/cornering
Executing sharp turns when towing may result in the trailer colliding
with your vehicle. Decelerate well in advance when approaching
turns and take them slowly and carefully to avoid sudden braking.
■Important points regarding turning
The wheels of the trailer will travel closer to the inside of the curve
than the wheels of the vehicle. To make allowance for this, take the
turns wider than you would normally do.
