1. Kraftstoff ist leicht entzündlich.
Daher:
* Motor beim Auftanken immer abstel- len.
* Beim Auftanken darauf achten, dass
kein Kraftstoff auf Motor, Kr ümmer
oder Schalld ämpfer versch üttet
wird.
* Beim Auftanken darauf achten, dass
nicht geraucht wird und sich keine
offenen Flammen in der N ähe befin-
den.
2. Falls Kraftstoff geschluckt wurde, gro ße Mengen an Kraftstoffdampf ein-
geatmet wurden oder Kraftstoff in die
Augen gelangt ist, mu ss unverzüglich
ein Arzt aufgesucht werden. Falls
Kraftstoff auf Haut oder Kleidung
gelangt, sofort mit Wasser und Seife
abwaschen und die Kleidung wech-
seln.
3. Den Motor immer abstellen, wenn das Fahrzeug unbeaufsichtigt ist. Beim
Parken des Fahrzeuges folgende
Punkte beachten:
* Motor und Auspuffanlage werdensehr hei ß. Darum so parken, dass
Fu ßgänger oder Kinder die hei ßen
Teile nicht versehentlich ber ühren
k ö nnen.
* Das Fahrzeug nicht auf absch üssi-
gem oder weichem Untergrund
abstellen, damit es nicht umfallen
kann.

1. L ’ESSENCE EST UN PRODUIT TR ÈS
INFLAMMABLE:
* Toujours couper le moteur avant de faire le plein.
* Bien veiller à ne pas renverser
d ’essence sur le moteur ou le tuyau et
pot d ’échappement en faisant le plein.
* Ne pas faire le plein en fumant ou à
proximit é d ’une flamme.
2. En cas d ’ingestion d ’essence, d ’inhalation
importante de vapeur d ’essence ou d ’écla-
boussure dans les yeux, consulter imm é-
diatement un m édecin. En cas
d ’é claboussure d ’essence sur la peau ou
les v êtements, se laver imm édiatement à
l ’ eau et au savon et changer de v êtements.
3. Toujours couper le moteur avant de lais-
ser le v éhicule sans surveillance. Au
moment de se garer, être attentif aux
points suivants:
* Le moteur ainsi que les élé ments du sys-
t è me d ’échappement risquent d ’être
chauds. Garer le v éhicule à un endroit
o ù les pi étons et particuli èrement les
enfants ne risquent pas de le toucher.
* Ne pas stationner dans une pente ou sur un sol meuble o ù la machine pourrait se
renverser.

Frequent cleaning of your machine will
enhance its appearance, maintain good overall
performance, and extend the life of many com-
ponents.
1. Before washing the machine, block off
the end of the exhaust pipe to prevent
water from entering. A plastic bag
secured with a rubber band may be used
for this purpose.
2. If the engine is excessively greasy, apply
some degreaser to it with a paint brush.
Do not apply degreaser to the chain,
sprockets, or wheel axles.
3. Rinse the dirt and degreaser off with a
garden hose; use only enough pressure
to do the job.
CAUTION:
Excessive hose pressure may cause water
seepage and contamination of wheel bear-
ings, front forks, brakes and transmission
seals. Many expensive repair bills have
resulted from improper high pressure
detergent applications such as those avail-
able in coin-operated car washers.
4. After the majority of the dirt has been
hosed off, wash all surfaces with warm
water and a mild detergent. Use an old
toothbrush to clean hard-to-reach places.
5. Rinse the machine off immediately with
clean water, and dry all surfaces with a
soft towel or cloth.
6. Immediately after washing, remove
excess water from the chain with a paper
towel and lubricate the chain to prevent
rust.
7. Clean the seat with a vinyl upholstery
cleaner to keep the cover pliable and
glossy.
8. Automotive wax may be applied to all
painted or chromed surfaces. Avoid com-
bination cleaner-waxes, as they may con-
tain abrasives.
9. After completing the above, start the
engine and allow it to idle for several min-
utes.

While compressing the valve spring with a
valve spring compressor 2, install the valve
cotters.

4. To secure the valve cotters onto the
valve stem, lightly tap the valve tip with a
piece of wood.
CAUTION:
Hitting the valve tip with excessive force
could damage the valve.

HINWEIS:
 Lager aus dem Kurbelgeh äuse demontieren,
indem sein innerer Laufring hineingedr ückt
wird (siehe Abbildung).
 Demontiertes Lager nicht wieder verwenden.
PR ÜFEN
Steuerkette und Steuerkettenf ührung
1. Kontrollieren:
 Steuerkette
Risse/Steifheit → Steuerkette und No-
ckenwellen-Kettenrad komplett erneu-
ern.
2. Kontrollieren:
Steuerkettenf ührung
Verschlei ß/Besch ädigung → Erneuern.
Vilebrequin
1. D époser:
Vilebrequin 1
Se servir d ’un s éparateur de demi-carters 2.
ATTENTION:
Ne pas chasser le vilebrequin au marteau.
Séparateur de demi-carters:
