HANDLING NOTE
NOTE:
The front fork requires careful attention. So it is
recommended that the front fork be maintained
at the dealers.
CAUTION:
To prevent an accidental explosion of air,
the following instructions should be
observed:
The front fork with a built-in piston rod
has a very sophisticated internal con-
struction and is particularly sensitive to
foreign material.
Use enough care not to allow any foreign
material to come in when the oil is
replaced or when the front fork is disas-
sembled and reassembled.
Before removing the base valves or front
forks, be sure to extract the air from the
air chamber completely.

Before removing the front fork from the
machine, loosen the damper assembly with
the cap bolt ring wrench 2.

HANDHABUNGSHINWEISE
HINWEIS:
Die Teleskopgabel muss mit großer
Vorsicht gehandhabt werden. Es
wird empfohlen, Arbeiten an der
Gabel dem Händler zu überlassen.
ACHTUNG:
Folgende Maßnahmen beachten,
um einen durch entweichende
Druckluft verursachten Unfall zu
vermeiden:
Die Gabeldämpferrohre sowie
der gesamte interne Teleskop-
gabel-Mechanismus sind sehr
empfindlich gegen Fremdkör-
per.
Beim Gabelölwechsel sowie Zer-
legen und Zusammenbau der
Teleskopgabel darauf achten,
dass keinerlei Fremdkörper ein-
dringen.
Vor dem Ausbau der Gabelven-
tile und der Gabelbeine muss
der Gabelluftdruck ausgegli-
chen werden.

muss das Dämpferrohr mit dem
Abdeckschrauben-Ringschlüssel

REMARQUES CONCERNANT LA
MANIPULATION
N.B.:
Les interventions sur la fourche sont très
délicates. Il est donc préférable de con-
fier tout travail sur la fourche aux con-
cessionnaires.
ATTENTION:
Afin d’éviter toute explosion acciden-
telle due à la pression d’air, suivre les
instructions ci-dessous:
La construction interne d’une four-
che à tige de piston incorporée est
très sophistiquée et est particulière-
ment sensible à la présence de corps
étrangers.
Veiller à ne pas laisser pénétrer de
corps étrangers lors du changement
de l’huile ou du démontage et
remontage de la fourche.
Avant de retirer les soupapes de
base ou les bras de fourche, veiller à
laisser s’échapper tout l’air du
réservoir d’air.

Avant de démonter la fourche de la
moto, desserrer l’amortisseur à l’aide de
la clé annulaire pour boulon capuchon

NOTA PER LA MANIPOLAZIONE
NOTA:
La forcella anteriore deve essere maneg-
giata con cura. Si consiglia di rivolgersi
ai rivenditori per la manutenzione della
forcella anteriore.
ATTENZIONE:
Per evitare esplosioni accidentali di
aria, seguire le seguenti istruzioni:
La forcella anteriore con lo stelo del
pistone incorporato presenta una
struttura interna assai sofisticata e
particolarmente sensibile ai mate-
riali estranei.
Prestare sufficiente cura per evitare
la penetrazione di qualsiasi mate-
riale estraneo durante la sostitu-
zione dell’olio o durante il
disassemblaggio e riassemblaggio
della forcella anteriore.
Prima di rimuovere le valvole base o
le forcelle anteriori, assicurarsi di
sgonfiare completamente la camera
d’aria.
PUNTI DI RIMOZIONE

1. Allentare:

NOTA:
Prima di rimuovere la forcella anteriore
dalla macchina, allentare il gruppo
ammortizzatore con la chiave ad anello
per tappo filettato 2.

CHASFRONT FORK
Adjuster
1. Drain the outer tube of its front fork oil at its
top.
2. Loosen:

3. Remove:
Adjuster 1
NOTE:
While compressing the inner tube 2, set the
cap bolt ring wrench 4 between the inner
tube and locknut 3.
Hold the locknut and remove the adjuster.
CAUTION:
Do not remove the locknut as the damper
rod may go into the damper assembly and
not be taken out.

1. Remove:

Using slotted-head screwdriver.
CAUTION:
Take care not to scratch the inner tube.
2. Remove:

Oil seal removal steps:
Push in slowly a the inner tube just before
it bottoms out and then pull it back quickly

Repeat this step until the inner tube can
be pulled out from the outer tube.

Die Sicherungsmutter fest halten

demontieren.
ACHTUNG:
Die Sicherungsmutter nicht entfer-
nen, da das Dämpferrohr in die
Dämpfer-Baugruppe hinein rut-
schen und nicht wieder herausge-
zogen werden könnte.

Vorsichtig vorgehen, um das

schieben

Anschlag schnell herausziehen

Diesen Schritt wiederholen, bis
das Gleitrohr sich aus dem
Standrohr herausziehen lässt.

N.B.:
Tout en comprimant le tube plongeur
2, placer la clé annulaire pour boulon
capuchon 4 entre le tube plongeur et
le contre-écrou 3.
Maintenir le contre-écrou et déposer le
dispositif de réglage.
ATTENTION:
Ne pas déposer le contre-écrou car la
tige d’amortissement risque de tomber
dans l’amortisseur et de ne plus pou-
voir en être retirée.

A l’aide d’un tournevis à lame
droite.
ATTENTION:
Veiller à ne pas rayer le tube plon-
geur.
2. Déposer:

Etapes de la dépose de la bague
d’étanchéité:
Enfoncer lentement a le tube
plongeur jusqu’à ce qu’il soit pres-
que en fin de course puis le retirer
rapidement b.
Répéter cette opération jusqu’à ce
que le tube plongeur puisse être
retiré du fourreau.

dal gambale sulla parte superiore.

NOTA:
Mentre si comprime il tubo di forza
2, inserire la chiave ad anello per
tappo filettato 4 tra il tubo di forza e
il controdado 3.
Tenere il controdado e togliere il
dispositivo di regolazione.
ATTENZIONE:
Non togliere il controdado, perché
l’asta pompante potrebbe cadere nel
gruppo ammortizzatore senza la possi-
bilità di estrarla.
Chiave ad anello per tappo
filettato:

Tubo di forza
1. Togliere:
Guarnizione parapolvere 1

Con un cacciavite con testa a
taglio.
ATTENZIONE:
Fare attenzione a non graffiare il tubo
di forza.
2. Togliere:

Operazioni di rimozione paraolio:
Spingere lentamente all’interno a
il tubo di forza quasi fino al fondo,
quindi tirarlo fuori velocemente
b.
Ripetere questa operazione finché
non si riesce a tirare fuori il tubo di
forza dal gambale.

kopgabel darauf achten, dass
