OnStar System
OnStar Buttons and Microphone Input Test
'03 Model
1. Pry off the OnStar buttons and microphone/homelink buttons.
2. Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.
• If the terminals are bent, loose or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system.
• If the terminals look OK, make the following input tests at the connector.
— If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
— If all the input tests prove OK, the switches and microphone must be faulty; replace it.
•: A3 and A4 terminals are microphone lines for navigation system.

rec t tim e afte r th e syste m finishe s GP S initialization .

the initia l signa l fro m th e satellite , whic h ma y tak e fro m
10 to 4 5 minutes . Follo w th e instruction s o n th e screen .
