Rear head restraints
The rear head restraints have two positions:A stowed position for when the seat is not occupied.A deployed position for safety of passengers, locking into place includ-ing for a forward-facing child seat.
To lower them, press on the unlocking control A.
To remove them, pull upwards as far as possible and press on the unlocking control A.

The red light on button 3 should no longer be visible - if not, push the seat all the way back.
Pull control 3 forwards to unlock the backrest 2.Move the backrest 2.
Pinch the seat cushion fi xings to remove them from their fasteners.
When repositioning:Fold the backrest 2 back up and lock it into place (the red light on button 3 should go out).Fold up the seat cushion 1.
Replace the head restraints if you had removed them.
Ensure that the front and rear back-rests are correctly locked in place.

Front passenger's airbag deactivation
In order to be able to use a rear-facing child seat in the front pas-senger's seat position, it is impera-tive to deactivate the passenger's airbag.
For that:With the ignition switched off, insert the key into the switch A.
Turn the key to the “OFF” posi-tion, the passenger's airbag is deactivated.With the ignition on, the front passenger's airbag deactiva-tion warning lamp lights up on the roof console display.

Note:The activation of this function is confi rmed by a message on the instru-ment panel screen and the light on button A coming on.
If the light on button A fl ashes, the doors have not been closed prop-erly.
The status of this function is memorised when the ignition is switched off.
The electric child safety is automatically deactivated in the e vent of a seri-ous accident (e.g. triggering of an airbag).

Child seats secured by means of the vehicle seat belt
In conformity with Directive 2005/40, the table tells you to what extent each of the seat positions in your vehicle may take a child seat that is secured by means of the vehicle seat belt and approved as “Univer-sal” as a function of the weight of the child.
Consult “User Precautions”, chapter on “Child Safety” at the end of this handbook, in order to ensure that you are installing your child in conditions of maxi-mum safety.

In the front passenger's seat position, it is imperative to deactivate the front passenger's airbag if you are installing a “rear-facing” child seat there. Otherw ise the child risks being killed or seriously injured should the airbag deploy. .
Take care to comply with the fi tting instructions given in the child seat manufacturer’s installation guide.

ISOFIX CHILD SEATS
ISOFIX anchoring points and the ISOFIX fastening system
Your vehicle is ISOFIX approved in conformance with European law ECE 14-06. The lateral rear seats and the front passenger seat are fi tted with regulation ISOFIX anchoring points.
Incorrect installation of a child seat in a vehicle compromises protec-tion of the child in the event of a col-lision. The ISOFIX system enables you to minimise the risks posed by incorrect fi tting. The ISOFIX fas-tening system gives you a conven-ient, strong and reliable fi tting for a child seat in your vehicle.
The ISOFIX fastening sys-tem
The ISOFIX system is made up of:
3 rings for each lateral rear seat:2 lower rings A located between the backrest and the seat cush-ion. They are approximately 28 cm apart and have the ISO-FIX logo on them.
One top ring B fi xed on the rear shelf, concealed under a fl ap with the logo TOP TETHERbehind the head restraint.
3 rings for the front passenger seat:2 rings located between the backrest and the seat cushion, with the ISOFIX logo.
A third ring C fi xed in the lower section of the rear of the back-rest.

Table summarising the installation of ISOFIX child seats
In conformance with European law (ECE 14-06), this table shows you the possibilities for the installation of ISOFIX child seats in seats fi tted with ISO-FIX anchoring points.
For ISOFIX universal and semi-universal child seats, the ISOFIX size cl ass, defi ned by a letter from A to G, is shown on the child seat to the right of the ISOFIX logo.

ISOFIX child seat recom-mended
The ISOFIX child seat recom-mended for your vehicle is the RÖMER Duo Plus ISOFIXmended for your vehicle is mended . It is marketed by the CITROËN net-work.
It is equipped with a top belt and so is approved as an “ISOFIX univer-sal” child seat, size class B1. It is essential to use the top belt.
This ISOFIX child seat can also be installed in seats not fi tted with ISO-FIX anchoring points. In this case, the child seat must be secured by means of the vehicle seat belt.

1. Interior lamps
Move control 1 to one of the 3 following positions:
Automatic lighting of the interior lampsOn entering the vehicle:They come on as soon as the vehicle is unlocked or a door is opened.
They go out 30 seconds after the doors are closed or when ignition is switched on.
On vacating the vehicle:They come on as soon as the ignition key is removed (timed for 30 seconds), or when a door is opened.
They go out 30 seconds after all the doors have been closed or immediately after the vehicle has been locked.

Ambient dashboard lighting
Your vehicle is equipped with warm and welcoming ambient lighting.
A soft orange light is emitted.
Operation
When starting the engine, lights located along the dashboard are activated.
With the ignition on and the head-lamps on, button A allows you to activate or deactivate the ambient dashboard lighting.
Ambient central console lighting
These lights are located on the roof console, near the front interior lamp. They light up the central con-sole.
Operation
These lights are activated when the instrument panel comes on. They are deactivated when the instrument panel goes out.
The intensity of the lighting var-ies along with that of the instru-ment panel. Press on button B to increase or reduce the intensity of the lighting.
Door opening controls light-ing
They are located on the front and rear interior door opening controls.
The rear door opening controls lighting is deactivated if child safety is activated.

Pavement lighting
With the door open, this lights up the ground next to the vehicle.
Floor lighting
In the front and the rear of the vehi-cle, when a door is opened, this lights up the interior of the vehicle.
Welcome lighting
The welcome lighting is made up of:The interior (roof) lamps.
The fl oor lighting.
The pavement lighting when a door is open.
