134 V Towing with all wheels on the ground
Towing ring ixings are placed at the front and at the rear o
f the vehicle.
Unclip the cover using a coin, or with a tool such as a screwdrive r.
The ignition key should be in position “M” to retain steeri ng capabi-
lity.
Use a bar with a hook to attach to the towing eye as indi cated above.
If the engine is not running, the steering and
braking systems will not be power-assisted.
If you are towing another vehicle, the latter
must be free-wheeling (gearbox in neutral).
T O W I N G - L I F T I N G
Advice :
In exceptional circumstances, it is
permitted to tow the vehicle at low
speed over a short distance (in
accordance with the local legisla-
tion in force).
In all other cases, the vehicle
must be transported by a trans-
porter.

Removable towing eye
The towing eye is removable : it
can be itted at the front or at the
rear of the vehicle. It is stowed in
