Both the height and reach of the steering wheel can be ad
justed.
With the vehicle at rest , irst adjust the seat to the most suitable position,
then adjust the position of the steering wheel. See “Drivin g position”
IMPORTANT
Do not release the steering column adjusting mechanism
while the vehicle is in motion.
Unlock the steering wheel by pushing the control downwards.
Adjust the steering wheel, then lock it by pulling the cont
rol upwards.

Seat belts on the front seats and the lateral seats of the 2nd
row
The front seats and the lateral seats of the 2nd row have se at belts with
both pyrotechnic pretensioners and force limiters.
Seat belt height adjustment
To adjust, pinch the control 1 and slide in the desired direction.
To put on the seat belts:
Grip the buckle and pull the seat belt smoothly across your body making
sure that it is not twisted. Insert the buckle tongue into the ixed part of the
buckle and push home to lock. Pull to check that it is securely lo cated.
The lap strap must be positioned as low as possible across the p elvis and
should be as tight as possible.
The backrest of the seat should be as close to vertical as possibl e to avoid
any risk of slipping beneath the belt in an impact.
Seat belts on the lateral seats of the 3rd row
The lateral seats of the 3rd row have their own seat belts, each with three
anchoring points, inertia reel and force limiter.
To install the belt, bring the anchorage from position A to position B, then
lock the belt connector into the housing.
Seat belts on the central seats of the 2nd row and 3rd row
The 2nd row central rear seat and the central seat of the rea r benchseat
each have an integral seat belt with 3 anchoring points an d an inertia
reel.

Automatic photochromic
interior rear view mirror
This provides an automatic and
progressive changing between
day use and night use.
To avoid causing dazzle, the mirror
automatically becomes darker as
a function of the intensity of light
coming from the rear. It becomes
lighter as soon as brightness
diminishes, thus ensuring optimal
vision.
Manual interior mirror
A lever on the underside of the
mirror allows you to choose
between two positions :
Day position: the lever is not
visible
Night position (anti-dazzle): the
lever is visible Operation
Switch on ignition and press on control
1.
- warning lamp 2 lit (switch on): automatic mode.
- warning lamp 2 not lit : automatic mode not operative. The mirror remains
at its lightest deinition.
Note: for optimal vision, the mirror lightens automatically when reverse
gear is engaged.
Permit holder
The athermic windscreen incorporates a clear area above the rear vie w mirror to allow the reading of access cards,

Electrically - controlled door
mirrors
The edge of the driver’s door mirror
(deined by the black dotted line)
is aspherical in shape to widen the
lateral visual ield.
Objects seen in the aspherical part
of the rear view mirror are closer
than they look.
This should be taken into account
when assessing distances. Adjustment of rear view
mirrors

select the rear view mirror via

Deicing of rear view mirrors is
coupled with electric demisting of
the rear screen. Folding back the door mirrors
When the vehicle is parked, the
door mirrors can be folded back
either manually or electrically.
Electric fold-back
From the central position, one
press towards the rear on control
1
folds the rear view mirrors back.
To return them to the initial
position, press again towards the
rear on the control.
Automatic fold-back
Automatic folding of the door
mirrors is also operated by the
locking of the doors with the
remote control.
The opposite effect is obtained by
switching on the ignition, except if
folding back was requested before
the ignition was switched off.
Note: Automatic fold-back
of the rear view mirrors can
be deactivated. Consult your
CITROËN dealer.

Note: the electric windows can also be operated for a limited time after the
ignition has been switched off (including after the front doors have been
opened). The front passenger’s electric
window is operated from the
control located on the door.
The 2nd row windows are oper
-
ated from the controls located on
the door pillars.
Electric control
The vehicle’s electric window
switches located on the door can
be operated from the driver’s posi-
tion.
Sequential control
An action on the control to the irst notch causes a window moveme nt which stops as soon as the control is re-
leased. An action on the control to the second notch causes th e window to close or open fully, a further press on
the control stops the movement.
Anti-pinch device
An anti-pinch device stops the window from rising. If it meets a n obstacle, it goes back down.
After a battery disconnection or in the event of a malfunctio n, you have to re-initialise the anti-pinch function:
- Use the control to fully lower the window, then press to ra ise it again. It will rise only a few centimetres.
- Press again on the control until the window is fully closed.
Warning: During this operation, the anti-pinch protection is not work ing.

ALWAYS PAY ATTENTION TO WHERE CHILDREN ARE WHEN OPENING OR CLOSING WINDOWS.
- Always remove the ignition key when leaving the vehicle, even for
short periods.
- If the driver is operating the passenger’s electric window con trol, the
driver should ensure that no passenger is obstructing the window from
closing.
- The driver should check that the electric windows are used prop erly by
the passengers.
- Should there be any risk of a person becoming trapped by a wi ndow
closing, you should immediately reverse the window movement. To d o
this, reverse the position of the control concerned.
Child safety precaution
The electrical security is operated
by pressing the control located on
the electric windows control panel.
This deactivates movement of the
rear electric windows, sliding side
doors and second and third row
sun roofs.
Doors can still be opened from the
outside and controlled electrically
from the front seat position.
Note:
the electric windows can
also be operated for a limited
time after the ignition has been
switched off (including after the
front doors have been opened).

dows using the remote control :
see “Remote control”.
Security windows with
restricted opening
To open the quarter window, pull
the lever and push the glass.
To close, pull and press the lever
to lock it.

Reverse gear
Lift the collar A to engage reverse gear.
Do not select reverse gear until the vehicle is completely statio nary.
Depress the clutch pedal and wait a few moments before gentl y engaging
reverse gear.

Automatic gear selection lever The automatic 4-speed (petrol
engine) or -speed (diesel engine)

Park
Do not engage until the
vehicle is completely sta-
tionary.
To avoid any movement of the
vehicle when parked, select
position P and apply the handbrake
irmly. Check that the selector is
in the position to ensure that the
driving wheels are locked.
Before leaving the vehicle, make
absolutely certain that the PARK
or P position is selected.
For safety:

Starting the vehicle
To start the vehicle from position P :
- apply the brake pedal to exit position P,
- select function R, D or M, then
gradually release pressure on
the brake pedal; the vehicle
immediately starts moving. Equally you can start from position
N
:
- Release the handbrake, foot on the brake pedal,
- select function R, D or M, then
gradually release pressure on
the brake pedal; the vehicle
immediately starts moving. WARNING
With the engine idling, brakes
released, if function
R, D or M is
selected, the vehicle moves even
without any acceleration.
For this reason, never allow unsu -
pervised children inside the vehi-
cle when the engine is running.
For any maintenance operation
to be carried out with the engine
running, apply the handbrake and
select position P.
