Lateral blinds
Lateral blinds are available for the
2nd and/or 3rd row rear seat po -
sitions.
In the 2nd row:
Pull the lateral blind by the tabs.
To avoid damaging the blind when
opening the door, check that the
two tabs are correctly secured.
In the 3rd row:
Position the corresponding hook
in the location A. Oddments pocket (Big screen
instrument panel)
Front seat drawers
A storage drawer is positioned
beneath each front seat. Lift and
pull forwards.

Upright litter container
It can be stood in the various loca
-
tions that can hold a water bottle,
its top part can support either a
drinks container or the movable
ashtray.
Rear door storage
Permits storage of a water bottle
or the upright litter container, a
drinks can and magazines. Boot storage

To reactivate the front
passenger’s airbag
Do not forget to reactivate the air-
bag function; to do that, with igni -
tion switched off:
- Insert and turn the key to the “ON” position, the airbag is
activated.
The warning lamp in the instru -
ment panel comes on for a few
seconds when you switch the igni -
tion on.
The front passenger’s airbag can
be deactivated. Passenger’s airbag
deactivation
In order to be able to use a “rear-
facing” child seat in the front pas
-
senger position, it is essential to
deactivate the passenger airbag.
- With the ignition switched off, insert the ignition key into the
control switch A.
- Turn the key to the “OFF”
position, the passenger airbag is
then deactivated.
The front passenger airbag deac -
tivation warning lamp in the instru -
ment panel lights up (ignition on).
On switching on the ignition, a
message on the multifunction dis -
play reminds you that the passen -
ger’s airbag is deactivated.
In the front passenger’s seat position,
it is essential to deactivate the front passenger’s airbag
whenever a “rear-facing” child seat is installed there.
Otherwise the child risks being killed or seriously i njured
should the airbag deploy.

CHILD SEATS secured by means of the vehicle seat belt
In conformity with Directive 2000/3, the table below tells
you to what ex-
tent each of the seat positions in your vehicle may take a chil d seat that
is secured by means of the vehicle seat belt and approved as “Uni versal”
depending on the weight of the child.
U : Seat position suitable for installation of a unive rsal rear-facing child seat and a universal forward -facing child seat
L- : Only the child seats indicated can be installed in the seat position concerned (depending on destinat ion). Consult the
section “User Precautions”, chapter on “Child Safet y” at the end of the handbook.
X : Seat position not suitable for installation of a c hild seat of the weight group indicated.
(a) If you are installing a “rear-facing” child sea t in the front passenger’s seat position, it is essential to deactivate the front
passenger’s airbag.
Before installing your child in the front passenger’s seat posi tion, consult the legislation in force in your country on
the carrying of children in this position.

ISOFIX anchorages and the
ISOFIX ixing system
The rear seat positions in your
vehicle are equipped with ISOFIX
anchorages.
These consist of 2 rings situated
between the backrest and the seat
cushion, approx. 28 cm apart.
ISOFIX child seats have 2 latches
which are easy to attach on these
rings.
This ixing system is intended for
children weighing up to 18 kg.
An incorrect installation of a child
seat in a vehicle compromises the
protection of the child in the event
of a collision. The ISOFIX system
guarantees you a convenient, so
-
lid and reliable ixing for your child
seat in your vehicle. The ISOFIX child seats approved for use in your vehicle are : the
ISOFIX
KIDDY and the ISOFIX RÖMER Duo (1).
They are sold by the CITROËN network.
ISOFIX KIDDY
It can be installed “rear-facing” from birth to 13 kg and “forward -facing”
from 9 to 18 kg.
Advice for the installation of your ISOFIX KIDDY child sea t:
In the 2nd row, the vehicle seat should be slid as far back as possible and :- in the “rear-facing” position, the shell of the seat should be in contact with
the backrest of the corresponding front seat.
- in the “forward-facing” position, the corresponding front seat should be
adjusted to an intermediate fore/aft position, backrest uprig ht.
The speciic ISOFIX KIDDY child seat must not be installed in an y of the
3rd row rear seat positions.
ISOFIX RÖMER Duo Il
It can only be installed “forward-facing”, for children from 9 to 18 kg.
Advice for installation of your ISOFIX RÖMER Duo child seat:
Use of the top belt, also called Top Tether, is not nece ssary. When the seat
is installed in the rear of the vehicle, the corresponding fro nt seat should
be adjusted so that the feet of the child are not touchi ng the backrest of
the front seat.
These child seats can also be installed in seat positions tha t do not have
ISOFIX ixings. In this case, they must be secured to the vehicle sea t by
means of the vehicle seat belt.
(1) On the ISOFIX anchorages in your vehicle, you may ix only the
ISOFIX child seats that are approved for your vehicle.

Manual adjustments
Head restraint
To raise or lower it, pull it towards the
front and simultaneously slide it.
The adjustment is correct if the top
edge of the head restraint is level with
the top of the head.
Its angle can also be adjusted.
To remove it, bring it to the high position, raise the
tab with the aid of a coin and at the same time pull it
forwards and upwards.
Note: Never drive the vehicle without the head res -
traints itted.
Rotating the seats: it is forbidden to rotate the seat, or to use the seat in its rearward facing coniguration, when the vehicle is in motion.

Turn the control and adjust to the desi

red position.
Rotating the seats
With the vehicle stopped, parking bra -
ke applied:
- return the backrest to the fully upright position,
- place the seat in an intermediate
longitudinal position and at maximum height,
- on the driver’s side, adjust the steering wheel as far forward as possible,
- pull the end of the parking brake lever, so as to position
it horizontally along the loor (see “Brakes”),
- lift the control 3 and pivot the seat inwards. Reach

Armrest
To place it in the vertical position , lift
it from its position of use until it locks.
Backrest angle
Use the control to adjust the backrest
angle.
Driver’s seat height
Raise or lower the control the number
of times required to obtain the desired
position.
To return it to positions of use, from the vertical,

fold fully down then lift to the desired position.

Heated seats
The front seats can be heated in
-
dividually. Use the controls located
at the side of the seats, and select
one of the three heating levels :
0: OFF
1: Low
2: Medium
3: High
Seat temperature is adjusted ac -
cordingly.
Note: The heated seats will only
operate when the engine is run -
ning.
Note: The seats can still be moved on a temporary basis:
- when opening one of the front doors.
- after switching off the ignition. Electrically operated

Memorisation of driving positions
It is possible to memorise two driving positions using buttons
1 and 2:
- turn the ignition key to the drive position “ M”,
- adjust your seat,
- press successively on control M then on button 1 “irst driving position” or on button 2 “second driving position”.
The memorisation is recognised by an audible signal. Memorising o f a new position cancels the previous one.
Recall of a memorised driving position
Engine stopped
- Press briely on button 1 or 2 to recall the corresponding memorised position.
Note: after several consecutive recalls of a memorised position, the fun ction will be deactivated until the engine
is started.
Engine running
- Keep button 1 or 2 pressed until the adjustment of the corresponding memorised posi tion has been completed.

MODIFICATION OF THE NUMBER OF SEATING POSITIONS
Certain models can be itted with additional seats compared to the ori-
ginal speciication.
The number of seats must not exceed the maximum number of places
as given in the registration document.
The 2nd row seat (delivered with the vehicle) in the central position, has
a 3-point seat belt.
It can only be arranged either in its initial position or i n the 3rd row on the
left hand side stored in the folded position.
