Resetting the service indicator
If you have to disconnect the battery following   this   operation,   lock   the   vehicle

Engine oil level indicator*
On versions fitted with an electric oil level indicator,   the   state   of   the   engine   oil   level   is

isplayed   in   the   instrument   panel   for   a   few  
s

econds,   after   the   servicing   information.
The
  level   read   will   only   be   correct   if  
t

he   vehicle   is   on   level   ground   and   the  
e

ngine   has   been   off   for   more   than  
3

0 minutes.
Oil level correct
Oil level incorrect
This is indicated by the display of the message "Oil   level   incorrect"   in   the   instrument   panel  
s

creen,   accompanied   by   the   service   warning  
l

amp   and   an   audible   signal.
If
  the   low   oil   level   is   confirmed   by   a   check   using  
t

he   dipstick,   the   level   must   be   topped   up   to  
a

void   damage   to   the   engine.

Oil level indicator fault
This is signalled by the display of the message "Oil level   measurement   invalid"   in   the   instrument   panel.

In
  the   event   of   a   fault   with   the   electric   indicator,

he   oil   level   is   no   longer   monitored.
If
  the   system   is   faulty,   you   must   check   the

ngine   oil   level   using   the   manual   dipstick

ocated   under   the   bonnet.

In the event of a fault with the SCR emissions control system
In the event of the detection of a fault
The  AdBlue,   SERVICE   and   diagnostic  
w

arning   lamps   come   on,   accompanied   by   an  
a

udible   signal   and   the   display   of   the   message  
"

Emissions

The
  alert   is   triggered   when   driving   when   the  
f

ault   is   detected   for   the   first   time,   then   when  
s

witching   on   the   ignition   for   subsequent  
j

ourneys,   while   the   fault   persists. During an authorised driving phase (between
650 miles and 0 miles) (1 100 km and 0 km)
If
  a   fault   with   the   SCR   system   is   confirmed  
(

after   30   miles   (50   km)   covered   with   the  
p

ermanent   display   of   the   message   signalling  
a

  fault),   the   SERVICE   and   engine   diagnostic  
w

arning   lamps   come   on   and   the   AdBlue  
w

arning   lamp   flashes,   accompanied   by   an  
a

udible   signal   and   the   display   of   a   message  
(

e.g.   "Emissions   fault:   Starting   prevented   in

50   miles")   indicating   the   remaining   range  
e

xpressed   in   miles   or   kilometres.
While
  driving,   the   message   is   displayed   every

0   seconds   while   the   fault   with   the   SCR   system

ersists.
The alert is repeated when switching on the ignition.You should go to a CITROËN dealer or a qualified   workshop   as   soon   as   possible.

You   have   exceeded   the   authorised

riving   limit:   the   starting   prevention

ystem   inhibits   engine   starting.
To   be   able   to   start   the   engine,   you   must

all   on   a   CITROËN   dealer   or   a   qualified  w
orkshop.

Distance recorders
The total and trip distances are displayed for thirty   seconds   when   the   ignition   is   switched   off,  
w

hen   the   driver's   door   is   opened   and   when   the  
v

ehicle   is   locked   or   unlocked.
When
  travelling   abroad,   you   may  
h

ave   to   change   the   units   of   distance:  
t

he   display   of   road   speed   must   be   in  
t

he   official   units   (miles   or   km)   for   the  
c

ountry.   The   change   of   units   is   done   via  
t

he   screen   configuration   menu,   with   the  
v

ehicle   stationary.
Trip distance recorder
It measures the distance travelled since it was reset   to   zero   by   the   driver.

Total distance recorder
It measures the total distance travelled by the vehicle   since   its   first   registration.

Lighting dimmer control
Allows the manual adjustment of the brightness of the instrument panel and touch screen tablet to suit   the   ambient   light   level.
Operates
  only   when   the   vehicle   lighting   is   on,   with   the   exception   of   the   daytime   running   lamps.

With the exterior lighting on, press button A

nd   controls   and   the   interior   mood   lighting   or

utton B   to   reduce   it.
