refrigerant
circulates

The

pressure
relief
valve
is

installed

beside

the

sight
glass
of
the
receiver

drier

The

purpose
of
the
valve
is

to

release

preSsurized

refrigerant
vapor

into

the

atmosphere
in

the
event
of

excessive

pressure
build

up
in

the

high

pressure
line

The

pressure
relief

valve

opens

automatically
at
a

pressure
