2. Understand the outline of system. Refer to SE-113, "
System Description" .
3. Perform the preliminary check. Refer toSE-124, "
Preliminary Check" .
4. According to the trouble diagnosis chart, repair or replace the cause of the malfunction. Refer to SE-125,
"Trouble Diagnoses Symptom Chart" .
5. Does climate controlled seat operate normally? YES: GO TO 6, NO: GO TO 4.
6. INSPECTION END.

1. CHECK DUCT AND FILTER
Check the following.
Is that there no foreign body in the blower motor filter.
Is that there no foreign body in the duct.
OK or NG
OK >> Preliminary check is OK.
NG >> The foreign body is removed.

Make sure other systems using the signal of the following systems operate normally.
NOTE:
The climate controlled seat blower keep low speed for approximately 60 seconds turning the switch.
The climate controlled seat system is downed when the temperature sensor set as the seat cushion and
the seatback's thermal electric device machine detects 20
C (68F) or more of mutual differences of tem-
perature.

4. Check continuity between climate controlled seat control unit connector and ground.

OK >> Check the condition of the harness and the connector.
NG >> Repair or replace harness between climate controlled seat control unit and seatback thermal elec-

1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Check voltage between climate controlled seat control unit con-
nector and ground.

NG >> GO TO 2.

2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Check voltage between climate controlled seat control unit con-

NG >> Replace climate controlled seat control unit.
