*1: It also comes on due to natural causes such as natural air leaks and tire inflation pressure
changes caused by temperature. Adjust the tire inflation pressure to the specified level.
The light will turn off after a few minutes. In case the light does not turn off even if the tire
inflation pressure is adju sted, have the system checked by your Lexus dealer.

*3: Depending on the operating condition, the color and illuminating/flashing state of the

■Unlocking the door
Use the mechanical key in order to perform the following operations:
1Pull the driver's door handle and insert
the mechanical key
2Unlock the door.
3Remove the key, return the handle, and then pull the handle again.
■Locking the door

With the door open, push down the
inside lock button.
2Close the door.
If the electronic key does not operate properly
Locking and unlocking the doors, unlocking the trunk

■Trunk
Turn the mechanical key clockwise to open.
1Depress the brake pedal.
2Touch the Lexus emblem side of the
electronic key to the power switch.
When the electronic key is detected, a
buzzer sounds and the power switch
will turn to ON mode.
When the smart access system with
push-button start is deactivated in
customization setting, the power
switch will turn to ACCESSORY
mode.
3Firmly depress the brake pedal and check that is shown on the multi-information
display.
4Press the power switch.
In the event that the hybrid system still cannot be started, contact your Lexus dealer.
Starting the hybrid system
If the electronic key battery becomes deplet ed, a warning message will be shown on the
multi-information display. Replac e the battery with a new one. For instructions on replacing
the battery, refer to the “OWNER’S MANUAL”.
If you need further assistance , contact your Lexus dealer.
