Daytime running lights

1. Insert a straight blade (or minus) screwdriver with a clothover its tip info the light cover (A) and pry gently to
remove it.
CAUTION
! Handle halogen light bulb with care. The gas inside
a halogen light bulb is highly pressurized, so drop-
ping, knocking, or scratching a halogen light bulb
can cause it to shatter.Never hold the halogen light bulb with a bare hand,
dirty glove, etc. The oil from your hand could cause
the bulb to break the next time the fog lights are
used.
If the glass surface is dirty, clean it with alcohol and
let it dry completely before installing the bulb.

2. Remove the screws (B) and remove the light unit. 3. Turn the bulb (C) counterclockwise to remove it.

4. While holding down the tab (D), pull out the socket (E).
5. To install the bulb, perform the removal steps in reverse.
Rear combination lights

1. Remove the screws (A) that hold the light unit and removethe light unit.

2. Turn the socket and bulb assembly counterclockwise toremove it.NOTE The rear side-marker light, and the tail and stop light uses
an LED instead of the bulb.
Check with an authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealer or a
repair facility of your choice when the light needs to be
repaired or replaced. 3. Pull the bulb out of the socket.B- Rear side-marker light, and tail and stop light (LED)
- cannot be replaced

light unit with the clip on the body and the pin (E) on the
unit with the hole in the body.
Back-up lights

2. Insert a screwdriver into the notch of the cover and pry
gently to remove the cover.NOTE Wrap a cloth around the tip of the screwdriver to keep
from scratching the cover.

Vehicle care precautions

In order to maintain the value of your vehicle, perform regular
maintenance using the proper materials and procedures. Be
sure to use only those materials and procedures that meet your
local environmental pollution control regulations. Choose the
materials you will use carefully, to be sure that they do not con-
tain corrosives. If you are not sure, contact an authorized
Mitsubishi Motors dealer for help in choosing these materials.
These can all be dangerous, and they all can damage your vehi-
cle.

Cleaning products can be dangerous. Some are poi-
sonous and others are highly flammable. Some are
dangerous if you breathe their fumes in a closed
space. When you use anything in a container to
clean your vehicle, be sure to follow the instructions.
Always open your vehicle doors or windows when
you’re cleaning the inside. Never use the following
chemicals to clean your vehicle:
• Gasoline
• Carbon Tetrachloride
• Benzine
• Kerosene
• Naphtha
• Acetone
• Turpentine
• Paint Thinner
• Lacquer Thinner
• Nail Polish Remover
