Check Front Air Massage Seat Switch Circuit BIS00146
1. CHECK FRONT AIR MASSAGE SEAT SWITCH CIRCUIT 1
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect front air massage seat switch connector.
3. Turn ignition switch ON.
4. Check voltage between front air massage seat switch harness
connector M90 terminal 1 and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 2.
NG >> Check harness between front air massage seat switch
and fuse block.
2. CHECK FRONT AIR MASSAGE SEAT SWITCH CIRCUIT 2
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Connect front air massage seat switch connector.
3. Turn ignition switch ON.
4. Check voltage between front air massage seat switch harness
connector and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 4.
NG >> GO TO 3.
3. CHECK FRONT AIR MASSAGE SEAT SWITCH
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect front air massage seat switch connector.
3. Check continuity between front air massage seat switch termi-
nals.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 4.
NG >> Replace front air massage seat switch.1 (GR) – Ground : Battery voltage.

4. CHECK FRONT AIR MASSAGE SEAT SWITCH CIRCUIT (CONTINUITY)
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect air massage seat control unit connector.
3. Check continuity between front air massage seat switch harness
connector M90 terminal 2, 3 and air massage seat control unit
harness connector B320 terminal 16, 17.
4. Check continuity between front air massage seat switch harness
connector M90 terminal 2, 3 and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> Check harness connection.
If it is OK, replace air massage seat control unit.
If it is NG, repair or replace malfunction part.
NG >> Repair or replace harness.LOW
2 (BR/Y) – 16 (GR) : Continuity should exist.
HIGH
3 (LG/R) – 17 (BR) : Continuity should exist.

Removal and InstallationBIS0014E
REMOVAL
CAUTION:
Before removing the front seat, turn the ignition switch off, disconnect both battery cables and
wait and least 3 minutes.
When checking the power seat circuit for continuity using a circuit tester, do not confuse its con-
nector with the side air bag module connector. Such an error may cause the air bag to deploy.
Do not drop, tilt, or bump the side air bag module installing in the seat. Always handle it with care.
1. Remove front leg cover and rear leg cover (LH/RH).
2. Remove bolts.
NOTE:
Set seat sliding and seat reclining to center position when disassembling power seat after removing bolts.
Set seat lifter to top position when disassembling.
3. Disconnect side air bag module connector and power seat harness connector under the seat and remove
harness securing clips.
CAUTION:
Before removal, be sure to turn ignition switch OFF, disconnect both battery cables, and then wait
for at least 3 minutes.
4. Remove seat from the vehicle.
CAUTION:
When removing and installing, use shop cloths to protect parts from damage.
INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Before installation, be sure to turn ignition switch OFF, disconnect both battery cables, and then wait
for at least 3 minutes.
Disassembly and Assembly of Seatback (Manual and Power Seat)BIS0014F
DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove screw caps from back of seatback, and then remove
screws.

2. Pull seatback garnish down to remove it.
3. Remove headrest.
4. Remove headrest holder.
CAUTION:
Before installing headrest holder, check its orientation
(front/rear and right/left).
5. Remove retainer from back of seatback.
6. Remove side air bag module mounting nuts, and then remove
side air bag module (Only with the air bag).
7. Remove seatback trim and pad from seatback frame.
