Disarming the rear windowswitches
Reinitialisation
Following reconnection of the battery or in the event of a malfunction you must reinitialise the operation of the electric windows:
 release the switch and pull it again until the window closes completely,
 hold the switch for approximately one second after closing,
REAR QUARTER WINDOWS
On the 3-door versions, system for ven-tilation of the rear seats limiting the par-tial opening of the window.
Opening
 For the safety of your children, press switch 5 to prevent operation of the rear windows irrespective of their position.
When the button is pressed down, disarming is active.
When the button is raised, disarming is deactivated.
Closing
 Pull the lever to release the window.
 Tilt the lever fully inwards to secure the window in the closed position.
 Tilt the lever outwards.
 Push it fully to secure the window in the open position.
 press the switch to lower the window automatically,
 when the window has reached the low position, press the switch again for approximately one second.
The safety auto-reverse function is not active during these operations.

DOORS
Opening
From outside
 After unlocking the vehicle using the remote control or the key, pull the door handle.
From inside
 Pull the front door control to open the door; this unlocks the vehicle com-pletely.
 Pull the rear door control to open the door; this unlocks the door con-cerned only.
Closing
If a door is not closed correctly:
- when the engine is running, this warning light comes on, accompanied by a message on the multifunction display for a few seconds,- when the vehicle is moving (speed above 6 mph (10 km/h)), this warn-ing light comes on, accompanied by an audible signal and a message on the multifunction display for a few seconds.

Manual centralised control
System which provides full manual locking or unlocking of the doors from the inside.
Locking
 Press button A to lock the vehicle.
The red indicator light on the button comes on.
Automatic centralisedcontrol
System which provides full automatic locking or unlocking of the doors and boot while driving.
You can activate or deactivate this function.
Activation
 Press button A for more than AAtwo seconds.
A confirmation message appears on the multifunction display.
Unlocking
 Above 6 mph (10 km/h), press but-ton A to unlock the doors and boot temporarily.
Unlocking
 Press button A again to unlock the vehicle.
The red indicator light on the button switches off.
Locking
When the speed exceeds 6 mph (10 km/h), the doors and boot lock automatically.Deactivation
 Press button A again for more than two seconds.
A confirmation message appears on the multifunction display.

System which locks or unlocks the doors mechanically in the event of a malfunc-tion of the central locking.
 Insert the key in the lock, located on the edge of the door, then turn it one eighth of a turn.
Tailgate release
System for mechanical unlocking of the boot in the event of a central locking malfunction.
Unlocking
 Fold back the rear seats to gain access to the lockfrom inside the boot.
 Insert a small screwdriver into hole Aof the lock to unlock the tailgate.
Locking the driver’s door
 Insert the key in the lock, then turn it to the right.
Unlocking the driver’s door
 Insert the key in the lock, then turn it to the left.
Locking the front and rear passenger doors

Pull the interior door opening control.

Opening
 After unlocking the vehicle using the remote control or the key, with the boot closed, press on the handle Band raise the rear screen using the base C of the wiper arm.
Closing
 Close the rear screen by pressing at the centre of the glass.
If the rear screen is not closed correctly:
- when the engine is running, this warning light comes on, accompanied by a message on the multifunction display for a few seconds,- when the vehicle is moving (speed above 6 mph (10 km/h)), this warning light comes on, accompanied by an au-dible signal and a message on the mul-tifunction display for a few seconds.

SUNROOF (SALOON)System which improves the ventilation and light in the passenger compartment. It is fitted with a system which provides protection if an obstacle is detected and a shutter to maintain a comfortable tem-perature.
Opening
 Turn the control to the left (nine pos-sible settings).
A deflector gradually unfolds on open-ing to prevent unwanted gusts of air.
Safety auto-reverse
When the sunroof is closing and meets an obstacle, it stops then partially opens again.
Reinitialisation
If a malfunction occurs following recon-nection of the battery, the sunroof must be reinitialised:
 place the control in the initial position "O",
 press the centre of the control for more than two seconds,
 wait until the roof closes completely,
 then, the sunroof opens again by a few millimetres.
The safety auto-reverse function is not active during these operations.
Shutter
The sunroof shutter is manual.
It is stored automatically when the roof is opened.
Operation
Closing
 Return the control to the initial posi-tion "O".

PANORAMIC ROOF
(SALOON)
System which consists of a panoramic surface of tinted glass to increase the light and visibility in the passenger com-partment. It is fitted with a manual shut-ter in two parts to maintain a comfortable temperature.
 Take the shutter by its handle and push it rearwards to the required po-sition.
Opening
Closing
 Take the shutter by its handle and pull it forwards to the required position.
PANORAMIC ROOF (SW)
System which consists of a panoramic surface of tinted glass to increase the light and visibility in the passenger compartment. It is fitted with an electric shutter in two parts to maintain a com-fortable temperature.
Opening
 Press control A.
The shutter stops when the control is released.
Closing
 Pull control A.
The shutter stops when the control is released.

FUEL TANK
Reservoir which should be refilled with fuel, when the minimum level has been detected.
Fuel tank capacity: approximately 50 litres.
To fill the tank in complete safety:
it is imperative that the engine is switched off,
 open the fuel filler flap,
 insert the key in the cap, then turn it to the left,
When you have filled the tank:
 put the cap back in place,
 turn the key to the right, then remove it from the cap,
 close the flap.
 remove the cap and hook it onto the clip located on the inside of the flap,
 fill the tank, but do not continue af-ter the 3rd cut-off of the pump; this could cause malfunctions.
Low fuel level
Filling
A label affixed to the inside of the flap reminds you of the type of fuel to be used depending on your engine.
When the fuel tank minimum level is reached, this warning light comes on on the instrument panel.
The distance which can be travelled with the fuel remaining is approximately 30 miles (50 km).
If you run out of fuel, refer also to the "Practical information" section.

LIGHTING CONTROLS
System for selection and control of the various front and rear lights providing the vehicle’s lighting.
Manual controls
The lighting commands are made di-rectly by the driver by means of ring A and lever B.
lights off,
side lights only,
dipped or main beam headlamps,
B. lever for inversion of the lights by pulling: dipped headlamps/main beam headlamps.
In the lights off and side lights modes, the driver can switch on the main beam headlamps directly ("headlamp flash") for as long as he pulls the lever.
Displays
The corresponding indicator light comes on on the instrument panel to confirm the selective switching on of the lighting selected.
Main lighting
The vehicle’s various front and rear lights are designed to adapt the driver’s visibility gradually in relation to the cli-matic conditions:
- side lights, to be seen,- dipped headlamps to see without dazz-ling other drivers,- main beam headlamps for good vis-ibility when the road is clear.
Additional lighting
Other lights are installed to respond to particular driving conditions:
- rear fog lamps to be seen from a dis-tance,- front fog lamps for even better visibil-ity,- directional headlamps for improved visibility around bends.
Programmes
Various automatic lighting control modes are also available according to the following options:
- "follow-me-home" lighting,- automatic lighting,- static directional lighting.
A. main lighting mode selection ring, with:
Model without AUTO lighting
Model with AUTO lighting
automatic lighting.
