TRIP COMPUTER
System which provides current infor-
mation concerning the trip (range, con-
sumption…).
Depending on your vehicle's
equipment, the trip computer
information appears on the
multifunction screen or on the instru-
ment panel screen.
Data displays
Press the button, located at the end
of the wiper stalk , to display the
various trip computer tabs in suc-
cession. With the instrument panel screen

Press the up and down arrows on
the navigator, associated with the

VENTILATION
System which creates and maintains
good conditions of comfort and visibility in
the vehicle's passenger compartment.
Controls
The incoming air follows various routes
depending on the controls selected by
the driver.
The temperature control enables you to
obtain the level of comfort required by
mixing the air of the various circuits.
The air distribution control enables you
to diffuse the air making use of several
air vents.
T h e a i r fl o w c o n t r o l e n a b l e s y o u t o i n -
c r e a s e o r r e d u c e t h e s p e e d o f t h e v e n -
tilation blower. These controls are grouped together on
control panel
A on the centre console.
Depending on the model, the functions
offered are:
- t h e l e v e l o f t h e r m a l c o m f o r t r e - quired,
- a i r fl o w ,
- a i r d i s t r i b u t i o n ,
- d e m i s t i n g / d e f r o s t i n g ,
- m a n u a l o r d i g i t a l a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g controls.
Air intake
T h e a i r c i r c u l a t i n g i n t h e p a s s e n g e r c o m -
p a r t m e n t i s fi l t e r e d a n d o r i g i n a t e s e i t h e r
from the outside via the grille located at
the base of the windscreen or from the
inside in air recirculation mode.
Air distribution

2. F r o n t s i d e w i n d o w d e m i s t i n g / d e -
frosting vents.
3. Side adjustable air vents.

The air conditioning system
does not contain chlorine and
does not present any danger
to the ozone layer. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING
In order for these systems to be fully effective, follow the operation and
maintenance guidelines below:
If the interior temperature remains very high after the vehicle has been parked
i n t h e s u n f o r a c o n s i d e r a b l e t i m e , fi r s t v e n t i l a t e t h e p a s s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t
for a few minutes.
P l a c e t h e a i r fl o w c o n t r o l a t a s u f fi c i e n t l e v e l t o p r o v i d e a n a d e q u a t e r e n e w a l
of air in the passenger compartment.
To obtain an even air distribution, take care not to obst ruct the exterior air
intake grilles located at the base of the windscreen, the n ozzles, the vents
and the air outlets, as well as the air extractor located in the boot.
Use in preference the intake of exterior air as prolonged use of the air
recirculation may cause misting of the windows and side windows.
Do not cover the sunshine sensor, located on the dashboard; this is used for
regulation of the automatic air conditioning system.
Operate the air conditioning system for 5 to 10 minutes, on ce or twice a
month to keep it in perfect working order.

t h e fi l t e r e l e m e n t s r e p l a c e d r e g u l a r l y ( r e f e r t o t h e " C h e c k s " s e c t i o n ) .

of the air breathed by the occupants and the cleanliness of the passenger

d e p o s i t s ) .
To ensure correct operation of the air conditioning system, you are also
advised to have it checked regularly.
If the system does not produce cold air, do not use it and contact a PEUGEOT
dealer.
When towing the maximum load on a steep gradient in high temperatures,
switching off the air conditioning saves engine power and i mproves towing
capacity.
The condensation created by the air conditioning results in a discharge of water
under the vehicle which is perfectly normal.

The air distribution can be
adapted by placing the dial in
an intermediate position.
The air conditioning can only operate
with the engine running. 4. Air intake/Air recirculation
The intake of exterior air limits misting
of the windscreen and side windows.
The recirculation of interior air insulates
t h e p a s s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t f r o m e x t e -
rior odours and smoke.
Return to exterior air intake as soon as
possible to prevent deterioration of the
air quality and demisting performance.

By means of the air quality
s e n s o r , t h e s y s t e m a l s o o p t i -
mises the air quality. On entering the vehicle, if the
interior temperature is much
colder or warmer than the
comfort value, there is no need to
change the value displayed in order
to obtain the comfort required more
q u i c k l y . T h e s y s t e m c o r r e c t s t h e d i f -
ference in temperature automatically
and as quickly as possible.
The air conditioning only operates when
the engine is running. The driver and front passenger
c a n e a c h a d j u s t t h e t e m p e r a -
ture to their requirements.
Turn control 2 or 3 to the left or to
the right respectively to decrease or
increase this value.
A setting around the value 21 provides
o p t i m u m c o m f o r t . H o w e v e r , d e p e n d -
i n g o n y o u r r e q u i r e m e n t s , a s e t t i n g b e -
tween 18 and 24 is normal.

D U A L - Z O N E D I G I T A L A I R CONDITIONING
We recommend the use of this mode:
i t p e r m i t s a u t o m a t i c a n d o p t i m i s e d a d -
j u s t m e n t o f a l l o f t h e f u n c t i o n s , p a s s e n -
g e r c o m p a r t m e n t t e m p e r a t u r e , a i r fl o w ,
air distribution and air recirculation, in
accordance with the comfort value that
you have chosen.
T h i s s y s t e m i s d e s i g n e d t o o p e r a t e e f -
f e c t i v e l y i n a l l s e a s o n s , w i t h t h e w i n -
dows closed. T h e v a l u e i n d i c a t e d o n t h e d i s p l a y c o r -
responds to a level of comfort and not
to a temperature in degrees Celsius or
Fahrenheit.
To switch it off, press the " v i s i b i l i t y "
button again or press the "AUTO"
b u t t o n , t h e i n d i c a t o r l a m p o n t h e b u t -
ton switches off or the indicator lamp
on the "AUTO" button comes on.
