mum value 28.
Turn control 2 or 3 t o t h e l e f t u n -
til "LO" ( l o w ) i s d i s p l a y e d o r t o
the right until "HI" ( h i g h ) i s d i s -
played. Switching the system off could result in
s o m e d i s c o m f o r t ( h u m i d i t y , c o n d e n s a -
t i o n ) .
Press this button again to return to
a u t o m a t i c o p e r a t i o n o f t h e a i r c o n -
ditioning. The indicator lamp on the
"A/C" button comes on.

8. Air recirculation
T h i s b u t t o n a c t i v a t e s t h e r e c i r -
culation of air in the passenger
compartment and can permit
automatic operation.

Air recirculation enables the passenger
c o m p a r t m e n t t o b e i s o l a t e d f r o m e x t e -
rior odours and smoke.

The automatic mode has an
exterior air quality sensor. It
analyses the air and isolates
the passenger compartment from the
outside when it detects the presence
o f p o l l u t a n t s ( e . g . i n a t u n n e l ) . I n t h i s
case, it activates the air recirculation
automatically.
Press this button to permit
the intake of outside air
and prevent condensation,
t h e i n d i c a t o r l a m p s w i t c h -
es off.
The air quality sensor is not active.

due to the movement of the vehicle, can
still be felt.

before it was switched off.
Avoid driving for prolonged
periods with the system off.

Seat consisting of a seat cushion, a seat

proximately one minute after the ignition
is switched off and in economy mode.
To reactivate them, switch on the
ignition.

Heated seats control
With the engine running, the front seats
can be heated separately.
Use the adjustment dial, placed on
the side of each front seat, to switch
o n a n d s e l e c t t h e l e v e l o f h e a t i n g r e -
quired:
0
: Off.
1
: Low.
2
: Medium.
3
: High.
H e a d r e s t r a i n t h e i g h t a n d a n g l e
a d j u s t m e n t
T o r a i s e t h e h e a d r e s t r a i n t , p u l l i t f o r -
wards and upwards at the same time.
To remove the head restraint, press
the lug A and pull the head restraint
upwards.
To put the head restraint back in
place, engage the head restraint
stems in the openings keeping them
in line with the seat back.
To lower the head restraint, press
the lug A and the head restraint at
the same time.
T o a d j u s t t h e a n g l e o f t h e h e a d r e -
straint, tilt its lower part forwards or
rearwards. T h e h e a d r e s t r a i n t i s fi t t e d w i t h
a frame with notches which
prevents it from lowering; this
is a safety device in case of
impact.
T h e a d j u s t m e n t i s c o r r e c t w h e n t h e u p p e r e d g e o f t h e h e a d r e s t r a i n t i s
l e v e l w i t h t h e t o p o f t h e h e a d .
Never drive with the head restraints
removed; they must be in place and
adjusted correctly.

Turn the dial to obtain the correct
lumbar position.

Check that no object, either on or
underneath the seat, could hinder
its movement.
To make the operation easier, place
the head restraint in the low position
o r r e m o v e i t ( i f t h e s e a t i s i n t h e f u l l y
f o r w a r d p o s i t i o n ) .
Lift the control, located behind the
s e a t , t h e n g u i d e t h e s e a t b a c k f o r -
wards. When the seat back is in this position,
the seat behind it and the centre rear
seat must not be occupied.
This position, associated with that of the
rear seats, allows you to transport long
objects inside the vehicle.
The maximum weight on the seat is
30 kg.

Check that nothing is preventing
t h e s e a t b a c k f r o m f o l d i n g ( h e a d r e -
s t r a i n t , s e a t b e l t s , . . . ) ,
c h e c k a l s o t h a t n o o b j e c t o n o r u n -
d e r t h e s e a t c o u l d h i n d e r i t s m o v e -
ment,
pull the control from the boot.
REAR SEATS
N e v e r d r i v e w i t h r e a r p a s s e n -
gers when the head restraints
a r e r e m o v e d ; t h e h e a d r e -
straints must be in place and in the
high position.
R e a r h e a d r e s t r a i n t s
T h e s e h a v e a h i g h p o s i t i o n ( c o m f o r t
a n d s a f e t y ) a n d a l o w p o s i t i o n ( r e a r v i s -
i b i l i t y ) .
They can also be removed.
To remove a head restraint:
pull the head restraint fully upwards,
then, press the lug A .
B e n c h s e a t t h e l e f t - h a n d ( 2 / 3 ) o r r i g h t -
h a n d ( 1 / 3 ) s e c t i o n o f w h i c h c a n b e f o l d -
ed to adapt the boot load space.

The seat cushion lowers to be
covered by the seat back; this
l e a v e s a fl a t b o o t fl o o r , i f t h e
m o v a b l e fl o o r i s i n t h e i n t e r m e d i a t e
position.
F o l d i n g t h e s e a t f r o m t h e r e a r
C h e c k t h a t n o o b j e c t , e i t h e r o n o r u n -
derneath the seat, could hinder its
movement.
Move the corresponding front seat
forwards if necessary,
check that the seat belt is positioned
correctly on the side of the seat
back,
place the head restraints in the low
p o s i t i o n o r r e m o v e t h e m i f n e c e s -
sary,
pull the control 1 forwards to release
the seat back 2 which tilts easily
onto the seat cushion 3 .
R e t u r n i n g t h e s e a t b a c k t o i t s o r i g i n a l p o s i t i o n
P u t t h e s e a t b a c k i n t h e u p r i g h t p o s i -
tion and secure it, the seat cushion
also returns to its original position,
check that the red indicator, located
at the control 1 , is no longer visible,
r e fi t t h e h e a d r e s t r a i n t s o r p u t t h e m
back in place.
When returning the rear seat back to
its original position, take care not to
trap the seat belts and ensure that their
buckles are positioned correctly.
