AIR BAGS
S y s t e m d e s i g n e d t o m a x i m i s e t h e

If a collision occurs, the electronic
detectors record and analyse the

a n d p r o t e c t t h e o c c u p a n t s o f

o f t h e r e a r c e n t r e p a s s e n g e r ) ;
i m m e d i a t e l y a f t e r t h e i m p a c t , t h e
a i r b a g s d e l a t e r a p i d l y s o t h a t
they do not hinder visibility or the
e x i t o f t h e o c c u p a n t s ,
- i n t h e c a s e o f a m i n o r o r r e a r i m p a c t o r i n c e r t a i n r o l l - o v e r
c o n d i t i o n s , t h e a i r b a g s w i l l n o t
b e t r i g g e r e d ; t h e s e a t b e l t a l o n e
i s s u f i c i e n t t o p r o v i d e o p t i m u m
p r o t e c t i o n i n t h e s e s i t u a t i o n s . The air bags do not
operate when the ignition
is switched off.
