Tilt switch 4 to move it to the position
for:
– permanent lighting;
– intermittent lighting, which comes
on when a door is opened. This
switches off after a time delay, once
the doors concerned have been
closed correctly;
– immediate switching off.
Map reading lights

Press switches 3 or 5.
Door lights
Light 6 comes on when the door is
opened.

Sun visor
Lower the sun visor 1 over the wind -
screen or unclip it and turn it over the
side window.

Accessories sockets
You may use the cigar lighter recess 2
or one of sockets 5 (depending on the
vehicle). They are designed for con -
necting accessories with a maximum
power rating of 120 Watts (voltage:
12V) which have been approved by our
Technical Department.

cigar lighter and an ashtray, you
may purchase them from approved
accessory outlets.

cigar lighter 2
With the ignition on, push in cigar
lighter 2, it will spring back with a click
when it is ready. Pull it out to use. After
use, replace it without pushing it all the
way in.
Ashtray 4 or 7
Press on cover 1 or pull cover 7 to open
it. To empty it, pull divider 3 , lifting the
rear of the ashtray, or pressing tab 6.

Rear headrests
REAR hEADRESTS
Position for use
Raise or lower the headrest while pull -
ing it towards the front of the vehicle.
To remove the headrest
Tilt the seatback, then press tab 1
and 2 simultaneously and remove the
headrest.
To refit the headrest
Insert the headrest rods into the
sleeves, and lower the headrest to the
first notch.
Storage position
Lower the headrest as far as possi -
ble, then press tab 2 and lower it com-
pletely.
When the headrest is set at the
lowest position (position A ) this is
for storage only: . It should not be in
this position when a seat is occupied.

The headrest is an impor -
tant safety component:
ensure that it is in place and
in the correct position. The
distance between your head and the
headrest and the distance between
the head and section A should be
as small as possible.

To open
Press button 2 and lift the tailgate.
To close
Lower the tailgate using the handles
inside the tailgate to help you.
To put the seatback back in position,
raise it then check that it is locked cor-
rectly.
Rear bench seat
REAR BENch SEAT/luggAgE coMPARTMENT
When refitting the seatback, make sure it is correctly locked in place.
If seat covers are fitted, make sure these do not prevent the seatback
latch from locking in.
Make sure that the seat belts are positioned correctly.
Reposition the headrests.
Rear bench seat
The seatbacks can be folded down in
order to transport large objects.
Pull control 1, the seatback folds down
automatically.

In all situations, lower the rear head-
rests (refer to the information on the
“Rear headrests” in Section 1).

When moving the rear
bench seat, check that
the bench seat anchor -
age points are clean (they
should be free from grit, cloths or
any other item which may prevent
the bench seat from locking se -
curely).
