Dependingonthecountryandthevehicleequip-
ment,thefollowing functionsmaybeavailable:
Wi-Fi
Whenthisfunctionisswitchedon,theMMIWi-Fi
hotspotisactiveandvisibletootherdevices(for
example,laptopsandcellphones).Youcancon-
nectyourWi-FidevicetotheMMIandusetheIn-
ternetconnectionifnecessary.Ifyouswitchoff
theWi-FiintheMMI,theWi-Fihotspotwillbe
deactivated.Therefore,anyotherdevicesaccess-
ingtheWi-Fihotspotwillnolongerbeconnected
totheWi-Fi.
Networkkey
TheWi-Ficonnectionbetweenyourvehicleand
yourWi-Fideviceisencrypted.Toestablishacon-
nection,youmustenterthefollowingvalues
whensettingupyourwirelessdevice.Youcan
changethemifnecessary.
—Accesspoint(SSID):nameoftheWi-Finet-
work.
—Password:arandompasswordwassetatthe
factoryintheMMI.Thepasswordcanbe
changed.Theencryptionmethodrequiresa
