Interior Mirror
Adjust the rearview mirror for a clear
view of the area behind your vehicle.
Manual Rearview Mirror
If equipped, push the tab forward for
daytime use and pull it rearward for
nighttime use to avoid glare of the
headlamps from behind.
Automatic Dimming Rearview Mirror
If equipped, automatic dimming
reduces the glare of headlamps from
behind. The dimming feature comes
on when the vehicle is started.
Rear Camera Mirror
If equipped, this automatic dimming
rearview mirror provides a wide angle
camera view of the area behind the
vehicle. Adjust the mirror with the tab
pushed forward so that the display is
off. SeeRear Camera Mirror 050.
Steering Wheel Adjustment
Power Tilt and Telescoping Steering
Wheel
Press the control to move the tilt and
telescoping steering wheel up and
down or forward and rearward.
Do not adjust the steering wheel while
driving.
Interior Lighting
Dome Lamps
The dome lamp controls are in the
overhead console.
To operate, press the following
buttons:
jOFF : Press to turn off the dome
lamps when a door is open. An
indicator light on the button will turn
on when the dome lamp override is
activated. Press
jOFF again to
deactivate this feature and the

Leaving children in a vehicle with a
Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
transmitter is dangerous and
children or others could be
seriously injured or killed. They
could operate the power windows
or other controls or make the
vehicle move. The windows will
function with the RKE transmitter
in the vehicle, and children or
others could be caught in the path
of a closing window. Do not leave
children in a vehicle with an RKE
transmitter.

Resetting the Power Folding
Mirrors
Reset the power folding mirrors if:
.The mirrors are accidentally
obstructed while folding.
. They are accidentally manually
folded/unfolded.
. The mirrors do not stay in the
unfolded position.
. The mirrors vibrate at normal
driving speeds.
Fold and unfold the mirrors one time
using the mirror controls to reset
them to their normal position. A noise
may be heard during the resetting of
the power folding mirrors. This sound
is normal after a manual folding
operation.
Auto Mirror Folding
If equipped, press and holdQon the
RKE transmitter for approximately
one second to automatically fold the
exterior mirrors. Press and hold
Kon
the RKE transmitter for approximately one second to unfold. See
Remote
Keyless Entry (RKE) System Operation
0 27.
This feature is turned on or off
through vehicle personalization. See
Vehicle Personalization 0147.
Heated Mirrors
K
:Press to heat the mirrors.
See “Rear Window Defogger” under
Dual Automatic Climate Control System

Automatic Dimming Mirror
If the vehicle has the automatic
dimming mirror, the driver outside
mirror automatically adjusts for the
glare of headlamps behind you.
Reverse Tilt Mirrors
If equipped with memory seats, the
passenger and/or driver mirror tilts to
a preselected position when the
vehicle is in R (Reverse). This allows
the curb to be seen when parallel
parking. The mirror(s) return to the original
position when:
.
The vehicle is shifted out of
R (Reverse), or remains in
R (Reverse) for about 30 seconds.
. The ignition is turned off.
. The vehicle is driven in
R (Reverse) above a set speed.

Identifying Driver Number
To identify the driver number:1. Start the vehicle with a different key or RKE transmitter. The DIC
should display the driver
number; 1 or 2. Turn the ignition
off and remove the key or RKE
transmitter from the vehicle.
2. Start the vehicle with the initial key or RKE transmitter. The DIC
should display the other driver
number not shown in Step 1.
Saving Memory Positions
Read these instructions completely
before saving memory positions.
To save preferred driving positions
1 and 2: 1. Turn the ignition on or to ACC/ ACCESSORY.
A DIC welcome message may
indicate driver number 1 or 2.
2. Adjust all available memory features to the desired driving
position.
3. Press and release SET; a beep will sound. 4. Immediately press and hold the
1 or 2 memory button matching
the above DIC welcome message
until two beeps sound.
If too much time passes between
releasing SET and pressing 1, the
memory position will not be
saved and two beeps will not
sound. Repeat Steps 3 and 4.
1 or 2 corresponds to the driver
number. See “Identifying Driver
Number” previously in this
section.
5. Repeat Steps 1–4 for a second driver using 1 or 2.
To save the position for
Band easy
exit features, repeat Steps 1–4 using
B. This saves the position for getting
out of the vehicle.
Save preferred memory feature
positions to both 1 and 2 if you are
the only driver. Manually Recalling Memory
Positions
Press and hold 1, 2, or
Bto recall
the previously saved memory
positions.
To stop Manual Memory Recall
movement, release 1, 2, or
Bor press
any of the following controls:
. Power seat
. Memory SET
. Power mirror, with the driver or
passenger side mirror selected
. Power steering wheel, if equipped
Auto Memory Recall
The vehicle identifies the number of
the current driver’s RKE transmitter
(1–8). See Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
System Operation 027. If the RKE
transmitter is 1 or 2, and Auto
Memory Recall is programmed on in
vehicle personalization, the positions
saved to the same memory button
number 1 or 2 are automatically
recalled when the ignition is turned
on, or turned from off to ACC/

ACCESSORY. RKE transmitters 3–8
will not provide automatic memory
recalls.
To turn Auto Memory Recall on or off,
see "Vehicle Personalization Settings"
previously in this section andVehicle
Personalization 0147.
The shift lever must be in P (Park) to
start Auto Memory Recall. Auto
Memory Recall will complete if the
vehicle is shifted out of P (Park) prior
to reaching the saved memory
position.
To stop Auto Memory Recall
movement, turn the ignition off or
press any of the following controls:
. Power seat
. Memory SET, 1, 2, or
B
.Power mirror, with the driver or
passenger side mirror selected
. Power steering wheel, if equipped
If the saved memory seat position
does not automatically recall or recalls
to the wrong positions, the driver’s
RKE transmitter number (1 or 2) may
not match the memory button number that positions were saved to.
Try saving the position to the other
memory button or try the other RKE
transmitter.
Easy Exit Recall
Easy Exit Recall is not linked to an
RKE transmitter. The position saved to
Bis used for all drivers. To turn
Easy Exit Recall on or off, see "Vehicle
Personalization Settings" previously in
this section and Vehicle Personalization
0 147.
If turned on, the position saved to
B
is automatically recalled when one of
the following occurs:
. The vehicle is turned off and the
driver door is opened within a
short time.
. The vehicle is turned off with the
driver door open.
To stop Easy Exit Recall movement,
press any of the following memory
controls:
. Power seat
. Memory SET, 1, 2, or
B
.Power mirror, with the driver or
passenger side mirror selected
. Power steering wheel, if equipped
Obstructions
If something has blocked the driver
seat and/or power steering wheel
while recalling a memory position, the
recall may stop. Remove the
obstruction and try the recall again.
If the memory position still does not
recall, see your dealer for service.
Heated and Ventilated
Front Seats
{Warning
If temperature change or pain to
the skin cannot be felt, the seat
heater may cause burns. To reduce
the risk of burns, use care when
using the seat heater, especially for
long periods of time. Do not place
anything on the seat that insulates
against heat, such as a blanket,
cushion, cover, or similar item. This (Continued)

Rear Window Wiper/
Washer
The rear window wiper/washer
controls are on the end of the
windshield wiper lever.
Turn the controls to adjust the
setting.
OFF :Turns the wiper off.
INT : Turns on the rear wiper with a
delay between wipes.
ON : Turns on the rear wiper.
1:Push the windshield wiper
lever forward to spray washer fluid on
the rear window and the Rear Mirror
Camera Lens, if equipped. See Rear
Camera Mirror 050. The wipers will
clear the rear window and either stop or return to your preset speed. For
more washer cycles, push and hold
the lever.
The rear window wiper/washer will
not operate if the liftgate is open or
ajar. If the liftgate is opened while the
rear wiper is on, the wiper returns to
the parked position and stops.
Rear Wiper Arm Assembly
Protection
When using an automatic car wash,
move the rear wiper control to OFF to
disable the rear wiper. In some
vehicles, if the transmission is in
N (Neutral) and the vehicle speed is
very slow, the rear wiper will
automatically park under the rear
spoiler.
The wiper operations return to normal
when the transmission is no longer in
N (Neutral) or the vehicle speed has
increased.
Auto Wipe in Reverse Gear
If the rear wiper control is off, the rear
wiper will automatically operate
continuously when the transmission is
in R (Reverse), and the front
windshield wiper is performing low or
high speed wipes. If the rear wiper
control is off, the transmission is in
R (Reverse), and the front windshield
wiper is performing INT wipes, then
the rear wiper automatically performs
INT wipes.
This feature can be turned on or off.

The windshield washer reservoir is
used for the windshield, rear window,
and rear mirror camera, if equipped.
See Rear Camera Mirror 050. Check
the fluid level in the reservoir if either
washer is not working. See Washer
Fluid 0267.
Compass
The vehicle may have a compass
display on the Driver Information
Center (DIC). The compass receives its
heading and other information from
the Global Positioning System (GPS)
antenna, StabiliTrak/Electronic
Stability Control (ESC), and vehicle
speed information.

Collision/Detection Systems
Select the Collision/Detection Systems
menu and the following may be
displayed if equipped:
.Alert Type
. Forward Collision System
. Front Pedestrian Detection
. Rear Cross Traffic Alert
. Adaptive Cruise Go Notifier
. Lane Change Alert
Alert Type
This feature will set crash alerts to
beeps or seat vibrations. This setting
affects all crash alerts including
Forward Collision, Lane Departure
Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control,
Park Assist, and Backing Warning
alerts.
Select Beeps or Safety Alert Seat.
Forward Collision System
This feature will turn on or off the
Forward Collision Alert (FCA) and
Forward Automatic Braking (FAB).
The Off setting disables all FCA and FAB functions. With the Alert and
Brake setting, both FCA and FAB are
available. The Alert setting disables
FAB. See
Forward Automatic Braking
(FAB) 0229.
Select Off, Alert and Brake, or Alert.
Front Pedestrian Detection
This feature may help avoid or reduce
the harm caused by front-end crashes
with nearby pedestrians.
See Front Pedestrian Braking (FPB)
System 0230.
Select Off, Alert, or Alert and Brake.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
This allows the Rear Cross Traffic
Alert feature to be turned on or off.
Select Off or On.
Adaptive Cruise Go Notifier
This feature will give a reminder that
Adaptive Cruise Control provides
when it has brought the vehicle to a
complete stop behind another
stopping vehicle, and then that vehicle
drives on.
Select Off or On. Lane Change Alert
This allows the feature to be turned
on or off. See
Lane Change Alert (LCA)
0 233.
When Lane Change Alert is disabled,
Side Blind Zone Alert is also disabled.
Select Off or On.

Select and the following may display:

Auto Memory Recall
This feature automatically recalls the
current driver’s previously stored 1 or
2 button positions when the ignition
is changed from off to on or ACC/
ACCESSORY. SeeMemory Seats061.
Select Off or On.
Easy Exit Options
This feature automatically recalls the
previously stored Exit button position
when exiting the vehicle. See Memory
Seats 061.
Select Off or On.
Chime Volume
This allows the selection of the chime
volume level.
Touch + or −to adjust the volume.
Hands Free Liftgate Control
The liftgate may be operated with a
kicking motion under the left corner
of the rear bumper. See Liftgate040.
Select Off, On-Open and Close,
or On-Open Only. Reverse Tilt Mirror
When on, both the driver and
passenger, driver, or passenger outside
mirrors will tilt downward when the
vehicle is shifted to R (Reverse) to
improve visibility of the ground near
the rear wheels. They will return to
their previous driving position when
the vehicle is shifted out of
R (Reverse) or the engine is turned off.

Select Off, On - Driver and Passenger,
On - Driver, or On - Passenger.
Auto Mirror Folding
When on, the outside mirrors will
automatically fold or unfold when the
Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
transmitter
QorKbutton is pressed
and held. See Remote Keyless Entry
(RKE) System Operation 027.
Select Off or On.
Rainsense Wipers
When on, the normal intermittent
wiper control becomes a Rainsense
sensitivity control. See “Rainsense”in
Windshield Wiper/Washer 0113. Select Off or On.
Auto Wipe in Reverse Gear
When on and the front wiper is on,
the rear wiper will automatically
activate when the vehicle is shifted to
R (Reverse).
Select Off or On.
Extended Hill Start Assist
This allows the duration of the Hill
Start Assist to be changed. See
Hill
Start Assist (HSA) 0204.
Select Extended Hold or
Standard Hold.
Lighting
Select and the following may display:
. Vehicle Locator Lights
. Exit Lighting
Vehicle Locator Lights
This feature will flash the exterior
lamps and allows some of the exterior
lamps and most of the interior lamps
to turn on briefly when

-:Clears the windows of fog or
moisture. Air is directed to the
windshield and floor outlets.
0: Clears the windshield of fog or
frost more quickly. Air is directed to
the windshield. Press
0to turn on or
off. Changing the air delivery mode
also turns the defrost off.
A/C : Touch A/C Mode on the climate
control display to turn the automatic
air conditioning on or off. If the fan is
turned off or the outside temperature
falls below freezing, the air
conditioner will not run.
Press AUTO to return to automatic
operation and the air conditioner runs
as needed.
@: Press to alternate between
recirculating air inside the vehicle or
pulling in outside air. The indicator
light on the button is lit when
recirculation mode is active. This
helps to quickly cool the air inside the
vehicle or reduce the outside air and
odors that might enter. Pressing this control cancels
automatic recirculation. Press AUTO
to return to automatic operation;
recirculation runs automatically as
needed.
Manual recirculation mode is not
available when in Defrost or Defog
modes.
Auto Defog :
The climate control
system may have a sensor to
automatically detect high humidity
inside the vehicle. When high
humidity is detected, the climate
control system may adjust to outside
air supply and turn on the air
conditioner. If the climate control
system does not detect possible
window fogging, it returns to normal
operation. To turn Auto Defog off or
on, see “Climate and Air Quality”
under Vehicle Personalization 0147.
Rear Window Defogger
K:Press to turn the rear window
defogger on or off. An indicator light
on the button comes on to show that
the rear window defogger is on. The defogger only works when the
ignition is on. The defogger turns off
if the ignition is in off or ACC/
ACCESSORY.
The rear window defogger can be set
to automatic operation. See
“Climate
and Air Quality” underVehicle
Personalization 0147. When Auto Rear
Defog is selected, the rear window
defogger turns on automatically when
the interior temperature is cold and
the outside temperature is about 4 °C
(40 °F) and below.
The upper grid lines on the rear
window are antenna lines and are not
intended to heat when the defogger is
activated.
The heated outside mirrors turn on
when the rear window defogger
button is on and help to clear fog or
frost from the surface of the mirrors.Caution
Do not try to clear frost or other
material from the inside of the
front windshield and rear window
