Gear efficiency indicator
System which reduces fuel consumption by advising the driver to change up.
O n  vehicle  fitted  with  a  manual Â
g

With
 an  electronic  or  automatic Â
g

m

system  adapts  its  gear  change Â

d
riving  conditions  (slope,  load, ...)  and Â
t
he  demands  of  the  driver  (power, Â

The

Operation
Depending on the driving situation and your vehicle's  equipment,  the  system  may  advise Â
y

The
 gear  engagement  recommendations  must Â
n

c
onfiguration  of  the  road,  the  amount  of  traffic Â
a
nd  safety  remain  determining  factors  when Â
c
hoosing  the  best  gear.  Therefore,  the  driver Â
r
emains  responsible  for  deciding  whether  or  not Â
t
o  follow  the  advice  given  by  the  system.
This
 function  cannot  be  deactivated. Example:
-
Â
Y
ou  are  in  third  gear.
- Â
Y
ou  press  the  accelerator  pedal.
- Â
T
he  system  may  suggest  that  you  engage Â
a
