Speed limiter (VTi 68 engine)
System which prevents the vehicle from exceeding the speed programmed by the driver.
T he speed limiter is switched on
m
anually:
t
his can be done whatever the speed of the
v
ehicle. However, if you are driving at less than
2
0 mph (30 km/h), the programmed speed will
b
e fixed at 20 mph (30 km/h).
The
speed limiter is paused by operation of the
control.
The
programmed speed can be exceeded
t
emporarily by pressing the accelerator firmly
b
eyond the point of resistance.
To
return to the programmed speed, simply
r
elease the accelerator pedal until the vehicle
r
eturns to the programmed speed limit.
The
programmed limit speed is erased
w
hen switching off the ignition.

To
avoid any risk of jamming of the

-
d
o not fit one mat on top of another.
Temporarily exceeding the
programmed speed
F Press f irmly on the accelerator pedal, g
oing beyond the point of resistance,
to
exceed
the programmed speed limit.
The
speed limiter is deactivated temporarily
a

orkshop.
An
audible signal accompanies the
f
lashing of the programmed speed
w
hen exceeding the speed is not due to
a
n action by the driver (steep hill...).
As
soon as the vehicle's speed returns to the
p
rogrammed value, the limiter operates again:
t
he display of the programmed speed becomes
s
teady again.

Reversing camera
The reversing camera is activated automatically when reverse gear is engaged.
T he reversing camera cannot in any
c
ircumstances replace the need for the
v
igilance on the part of the driver. The
image is provided in the touch screen
o
nly, with an indication of the limit of the rear
b
umpers (red line) and the general direction of
t
he vehicle (blue lines).Clean
the reversing camera regularly
u
sing a soft, dry cloth.
The
field of vision covered by the camera is
l
imited: objects in the immediate proximity of
t
he bumper or located below it are not visible.
The
camera's wide-angle lens deforms the
i
mage presented in the screen: the distances
v
isible in the screen may be different from
t
he true distances. This deformation varies
a
ccording to the loading of the vehicle and the
s
lope of the road.
High pressure jet washing
When
washing your vehicle, do not
d
irect the lance within 30 cm of the
c
amera lens.
Never
reverse the vehicle looking only

It
is normal to be able to see part of the number

Lane departure warning system
System which detects the unintended crossing of longitudinal traffic lane markings on the ground, using a camera that recognises both solid and broken lines.
To
improve your safety, the camera analyses the image and then triggers a warning if the vehicle wanders over a lane marking (speed higher than
3
0 mph (50 km/h)).
This
system is particularly suitable for motor ways and dual carriageways.
The
lane departure warning system
c
annot in any circumstances replace
t
he need for vigilance on the part of the
d
river.
It
is necessary to observe driving
r
egulations and take a break every
two
hours.
Activation

heel.
Detection
You are alerted by an audible signal and the display of a warning lamp in the instrument panel.

Under-inflation detection
The system monitors the pressures in the four t
yres, once the vehicle is moving.
It
compares the information given by the four
w
heel speed sensors with reference values,
which must be reinitialised ever y time the
tyre pressures are adjusted or a wheel
changed .
The
system triggers an alert as soon as it
d
etects a drop in the inflation pressure of one
o
r more tyres. The
under-inflation detection system
d
oes not replace the need for vigilance
o
n the part of the driver.
This system does not avoid the need to
c
heck the tyre pressures (including the
s
pare wheel) every month as well as
b
efore a long journey.
Driving with under-inflated tyres impairs
r
oad holding, extends braking distances
a
nd causes premature tyre wear, p
articularly under arduous condition (
high loading, high speed, long journey).
System
which automatically checks the pressures of the tyres while driving.
The inflation pressures defined for
y
our vehicle can be found on the tyre
p
ressure label.
For more information on the
i
dentification markings, refer to the c
orresponding s ection.
Tyre pressures should be checked
w
hen the tyres are "cold" (vehicle
s
topped for 1 hour or after a journey of
l
ess than 6 miles (10 km) at moderate
s
peeds).
Other wise
(when hot), add 0.3 bar to
t
he pressures shown on the label.
Driving
with under-inflated tyres
i
ncreases fuel consumption.

Reinitialisation
Before reinitialising the system, ensure t hat the pressures of the four tyres are
correct
for the use of the vehicle and in
l

t
yre pressure label.
The
under-inflation alert can only be
r
elied on if the reinitialisation of the
s
ystem has done with the pressures in
t
he four tyres correctly adjusted.
The

The under-inflation alert can only be considered reliable if reinitialisation of

Snow chains
The system does not have to be reinitialised after fitting or removing

Operating fault
The flashing and then fixed illumination of the under-inflation warning lamp i

Exterior lighting control stalk
Main lighting
The various front and rear lamps of the vehicle are designed to adapt the driver's visibility
p
rogressively according to the ambient light
l
evel and weather:
-
s

-
d

d

rivers,
-
m
ain beam headlamps to see clearly when
t
he road is clear.
Additional lighting
Other lamps are provided to meet the requirements of particular driving conditions:
-
a
rear foglamp,
-
d
aytime running lamps to be more visible
d
uring the day. In
some weather conditions (e.g. low
t
emperature or humidity), the presence
o
f misting on the internal sur face of the
g
lass of the headlamps and rear lamps
i
s normal; it disappears after the lamps
h
ave been on for a few minutes.Travelling abroad
If using your vehicle in a country that d
rives on the other side of the road, the
h
eadlamps must be adjusted to avoid
