TOLL CARD/CAR PARK TICKET WINDOWS
The athermic windscreen limits
heating of the passenger compart-
ment by reducing the effects of the
sun's rays (ultra-violet). It consists
o f a r e fl e c t i v e l a y e r , w h i c h a l s o
blocks certain radio-electric signals
( t o l l c a r d p a y m e n t s , . . . ) .
F a c i l i t y f o r a f fi x i n g t o l l c a r d s a n d / o r
car park tickets.
These windows are located on each
side of the base of the interior mirror.
T h e y a r e t w o n o n - r e fl e c t i v e a r e a s o f
the athermic windscreen.
System which protects against sun
from ahead or from the side and
courtesy system with illuminated
mirror.
W i t h t h e i g n i t i o n o n , l i f t t h e fl a p ;
the mirror is illuminated automati-
cally.
T o p r e v e n t d a z z l e f r o m a h e a d , f o l d
the visor downwards.
It can be disengaged from its central
fi x i n g a n d p i v o t e d o v e r t o t h e s i d e
windows if required.
PANORAMIC GLASS ROOF
System which consists of an area of
panoramic tinted glass to increase
the light and visibility in the pas-
s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t . I t i s fi t t e d w i t h
2 independent manual blinds to help
maintain a comfortable tempera-
ture.
Opening
Raise the blind's handle and re-
lease.
E a c h b l i n d i s fi t t e d w i t h a r o l l e r w h i c h
stores it once you release it.
Closing
Front blind
Pull the blind rearwards until it
locks in.
Rear blind
Pull the blind forwards until it
locks in.

For the airbags to be fully
effective, observe the following
safety rules:
Sit in a normal upright position.
Wear a correctly adjusted seat belt.
Do not leave anything between the
occupants and the airbags (a child,
pet, object...). This could hamper the
operation of the airbags or injure the
occupants.
After an accident or if the vehicle
has been stolen or broken into, have
the airbag systems checked.
All work on the airbag system is
strictly forbidden unless it is carried
o u t b y q u a l i fi e d p e r s o n n e l o f t h e
CITROËN network.
Even if all of the precautions men-
tioned are observed, a risk of injury
or of minor burns to the head, chest
or arms when an airbag is triggered
c a n n o t b e r u l e d o u t . T h e b a g i n fl a t e s
almost instantly (within a few mil-
l i s e c o n d s ) t h e n d e fl a t e s w i t h i n t h e
same time discharging the hot gas
via openings provided for this pur-
pose. Front airbags
Do not drive holding the steering
wheel by its spokes or resting your
hands on the centre part of the
wheel.
Passengers must not place their feet
on the dashboard.
If possible, do not smoke as deploy-
ment of the airbags can cause burns
or the risk of injury from a cigarette
or pipe.
Never remove or pierce the steering
wheel or hit it violently.
Side airbags
Use only approved covers on the
s e a t s . T h e s e w i l l n o t h i n d e r i n fl a -
tion of the side airbags. Consult a
CITROËN dealer.
D o n o t fi x o r a p p l y a n y t h i n g t o t h e
seat backs. This could cause injury
to the chest or arms if the side air
bag is triggered.
Do not sit with the upper part of the
body any nearer to the door than
necessary. Curtain airbags
D o n o t fi x o r a p p l y a n y t h i n g t o t h e
roof. This could cause injury to the
head if the curtain airbag is trig-
gered.
Do not remove the grab handles in-
stalled on the roof, they play a part
in securing the curtain airbags.
