Position the jack at one of the
f o u r j a c k i n g - p o i n t s p r o v i d e d
o n t h e u n d e r b o d y c l o s e t o t h e
w h e e l s , t h e n u s e t h e w h e e l b r a c e
to unwind the jack until it reaches
t h e g r o u n d .
R e m o v e t h e p r o t e c t o r f r o m e a c h
bolt using tool 3 .
S l a c k e n t h e w h e e l b o l t s .
Before positioning the jack:
A l w a y s a d j u s t t h e v e h i c l e ’ s
g r o u n d c l e a r a n c e t o t h e " m a x i -
m u m h e i g h t " p o s i t i o n a n d r e -
t a i n t h i s a d j u s t m e n t f o r a s l o n g
as the jack is under the vehicle
( d o n o t u s e t h e h y d r a u l i c a d -
j u s t m e n t s ) ,
I m m o b i l i s e y o u r v e h i c l e o n h o r i -
z o n t a l , s t a b l e a n d n o n - s l i p p e r y
g r o u n d ,
E n s u r e t h a t a n y p a s s e n g e r s
have left the vehicle and are in
a s a f e p l a c e .
Never get underneath the vehicle if
i t i s s u p p o r t e d o n l y b y t h e j a c k .
The jack and all of the tools are
s p e c i fi c t o y o u r v e h i c l e . D o n o t u s e
t h e m f o r a n y o t h e r a p p l i c a t i o n s .
H a v e t h e o r i g i n a l w h e e l r e p a i r e d
