IMPORTANT Before getting out of
the vehicle, make sure both
switches are in the middle position;
when the doors are closed, the
lights switch off to prevent the
battery from being run down. In any
case, if the switch is left in on
position, the roof light switches off
automatically 15 minutes after
the engine switching off.
REAR ROOF LIGHT
WITH MOVABLE LENS
(Doblò/Doblò Combi versions)
The light comes on automatically
when a front door or sliding side
door is opened and goes out when
it is closed.Press the left-hand side of the lens

to switch the light on/off when
the doors are closed.
REAR ROOF LIGHT
WITH MOVABLE LENS
(Cargo versions without fixed
window)
This is located on the rear panel of
the load compartment. The light
comes on automatically when you
open the sliding side doors (for
versions/markets where provided)
and the rear swing doors/tailgate
(for versions/markets where
provided), and goes out when you
close them. Press the left or right
side of the movable lens A, as
shown in fig. 59, to switch the light
on/off when the doors are closed.REAR ROOF LIGHT
WITH MOVABLE LENS
(additional for Cargo long wheelbase
versions)
This is located on the right side of
the load compartment. The light
comes on automatically when you
open the sliding side doors and the
rear wing doors/tailgate and goes
out when you close them.
Press the left-hand side of the lens

to switch the light on/off when

Cargo versions
Roof lights switching on
The front roof light comes on when
one of the two front doors is opened
and remains on for 3 minutes if at
least one of the two doors continues
to remain open.
The rear roof lights come on when
one of the sliding side doors or
the rear door (swing or tailgate) is
opened and they stay on for 3
minutes if at least one of these
doors remains open.Roof lights switching off
The front roof light goes out
immediately (with fading), if the key
is in the MAR position when all
the front doors are closed.
The front roof light goes out after 10
secs. (with fading), if the key is in
the OFF position when all the front
doors are closed.
The rear roof lights go out
immediately (with fading), if the key
is in the MAR position when all
the side doors and the rear door
(swing or tailgate) are closed.
The rear roof lights go out after 10
secs. (with fading), if the key is in the
OFF position when all the side
doors and the rear door (swing or
tailgate) are closed.

Pushing the stalk towards the
dashboard (unstable position) will
activate the rear window washer jet.
Keep the stalk pushed for more
than half a second to activate the
rear window wiper as well.
Releasing the stalk will activate the
smart washing function, as
described for the windscreen wiper.
The function stops when the stalk
is released.

HEADLIGHT WASHERS
(for versions/markets, where
provided)
They are activated when the dipped
headlights are on and the
windscreen washer is activated.
IMPORTANT Check jet function and
cleanliness at regular intervals.

IMPORTANT
3) Do not use the windscreen wiper
to remove layers of snow or ice
from the windscreen. In such
conditions, the windscreen wiper
may be subjected to excessive
stress and the motor cut-out
switch, which prevents operation
for a few seconds, may intervene.
If operation is not restored (even
after turning the key and
restarting the engine), contact a
Fiat Dealership.
4) Do not operate the windscreen
wiper with the blades lifted from
the windscreen.
5) Do not use the rear window wiper
to remove layers of snow or ice. In
such conditions, the wiper may
be subjected to excessive stress
and the motor protection, which
prevents operation for a few
seconds, may intervene. If
operation is not restored, contact
a Fiat Dealership.
6) The headlamp washer jet does not
function when the level of fluid in
the reservoir falls below 1.6 litres.

INTERNAL AIR
RECIRCULATION
ACTIVATION
Press button D: when the function is
on, the button LED lights up.
It is advisable to switch the internal
air recirculation on while standing
in queues or in tunnels to prevent
the introduction of polluted air.IMPORTANT The air recirculation
system makes it possible to reach
the required heating or cooling
conditions faster, depending on the
selected mode. Do not use the
internal air recirculation function on
rainy/cold days to avoid the
possibility of the windows misting.

INTERNAL AIR
RECIRCULATION
ACTIVATION
Press button E: when the function is
on, the button LED lights up.
It is advisable to switch the internal
air recirculation on while standing
in queues or in tunnels to prevent
the introduction of polluted air.
Do not use the function for a long
time, particularly if there are many
passengers on board, to prevent the
windows from misting up.
IMPORTANT The air recirculation
system makes it possible to reach
the required heating or cooling
conditions faster, depending on the
selected mode. It is not advisable
to switch the internal air recirculation
on when it is rainy/cold or the
windows might steam up, especially
if the climate control system is not
turned on.
CLIMATE CONTROL
SYSTEM (cooling)
Proceed as follows:
❒turn knob A to the blue section;
❒turn knob B to the required speed;
❒turn knob C to

Adjusting cooling
Proceed as follows:
❒turn off internal air recirculation by
pressing button E (button LED off);
❒turn knob A rightwards to increase
the temperature;
❒turn knob B leftwards to reduce the
fan speed.
ADDITIONAL HEATER
(for versions/markets, where
provided)
This device warms up the
passenger compartment more
quickly when it is very cold and the
engine coolant temperature is low.
The additional heater comes on
automatically when the engine
is started, if knob A is turned to the
last red sector and the fan (knob
B) is at least at the first speed level.
The additional heater turns off
automatically after reaching the
required comfort conditions.
IMPORTANT The heater will not turn
on if the battery voltage is too low.SYSTEM SERVICING
In winter, the climate control system
must be turned on at least once a
month for about 10 minutes. Have
the system inspected at a Fiat
Dealership before the summer.

moving, due to the intervention of
the anti-pinch system;
– 50 window movements without
ever closing the window;
– 3 door opening movements, with
moving window, without ever
closing the window.
Proceed as follows for the
initialisation:
1. completely close the driver's door
window, keeping the operating
button pressed for at least 5
seconds after the (upper) end of
travel position
2. proceed in the same way on the
passenger's side door button and
on the buttons of rear doors.
WARNING
28) Incorrect use of the electric
windows may be dangerous.
Before and during their operation,
ensure that any passengers are
not at risk from the moving glass
either by personal objects getting
caught in the mechanism or by
being hit by it directly.
29) When leaving the vehicle,
always remove the ignition key to
avoid the risk of injury due to
accidental operation of the
electric windows.
CONTROLS
FOG LIGHTS
(for versions/markets, where
provided)
Press the
button to turn them
on. The
warning light on the
panel switches on.
When the fog lights are on, the side
lights also come on, while the
daytime running lights go off
irrespective of the position of the
twist switch.
Press the button again to switch the
lights off.

REAR FOG LIGHTS
Press the
button with the dipped
beam headlights or front fog lights
on to turn the rear fog lights on. The
warning light on the panel
switches on.
Press the button again to turn the
lights off, or turn off the dipped
beam headlights and/or the front fog
lights (where provided).
BONNET
Opening
Proceed as follows:
❒pull lever A fig. 73 in the direction
indicated by the arrow;
❒operate lever B fig. 74, lift the bonnet
and, at the same time, release the
supporting rod C fig. 75 from its
catch D, then insert the end of the
rod into housing E in the bonnet
(large hole) and push to safety
position (small hole), as shown in the
figure.

Closing
Proceed as follows:
❒Hold the bonnet up with one hand
and with the other remove rod C
from housing E and fit it back into its
catch D;
❒Lower the bonnet to approximately
20 centimetres above the engine
compartment and let it come down.
Make sure that the bonnet is
completely closed and not just
secured in safety position. If it is not
perfectly closed, do not try to press
the bonnet down but open it and
repeat the procedure.

ALIGNMENT
The correct alignment of the
headlights is essential for the
comfort and safety of the driver and
other road users. To ensure the
best visibility when travelling with the
headlights on, the headlight
alignment must be correct. Contact
a Fiat Dealership to have the
headlights checked and adjusted.
HEADLIGHT
ALIGNMENT
CORRECTOR
This device works with the ignition
key in the MAR position and the
dipped beam headlights on.
The vehicle tilts backwards when it
is laden, raising the beam. The
beams must therefore be realigned
in this case.Headlight alignment

instrument panel provides a visual
indication of the adjustment

Position 0 - one or two people in the
front seats.

ADJUSTING THE
HEADLIGHTS ABROAD
The dipped beam headlights are
aligned for operation in the country
where the vehicle was originally
purchased. In countries where
vehicles are driven on the other side
of the road, the beams are aligned
by applying a specially designed
adhesive film in order not to dazzle
the vehicles travelling in the opposite
direction.
Such film is provided by
Lineaccessori Fiat and is available at
Fiat Dealerships.
RADIO
