transmission damage. Use of a transmission fluid other than the
recommended fluid may cause transmission damage. Refer to your
scheduled maintenance informationto determine the correct service

Safety Compliance Certification Label
The National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration Regulations require
that a Safety Compliance
Certification Label be affixed to a
vehicle and prescribe where the
Safety Compliance Certification
Label may be located. The Safety
Compliance Certification Label is
located on the structure by the
trailing edge of the driver's door or
the edge of the driver's door.
Vehicle identification number
The vehicle identification number
(VIN) is a 17 digit combination of
letters and numbers. The VIN is
attached to a metal tag and is
located on the driver side
instrument panel. The VIN number
is also found on the Certification
label. (Please note that in the
graphic XXXX is representative of
your vehicle identification number.)

accessory. The accessory will be warranted for whichever provides you
the greatest benefit:
²12 months or 12,000 miles (20,000 km) (whichever occurs first), or
²the remainder of your new vehicle limited warranty.
This means that Genuine Ford Accessories purchased along with your
new vehicle and installed by the authorized dealer are covered for the
full length of your New Vehicle's Limited Warranty Ð 3 years or 36,000
miles (60,000 km) (whichever occurs first). Contact your authorized
dealer for details and a copy of the warranty.

Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) regulate the use of mobile
communications systems Ð such as two-way radios, telephones and
theft alarms - that are equipped with radio transmitters. Any such
equipment installed in your vehicle should comply with FCC or CRTC
regulations and should be installed only by a qualified service
technician.

²Mobile communications systems may harm the operation of your
vehicle, particularly if they are not properly designed for automotive
use.
²To avoid interference with other vehicle functions, such as anti-lock
braking systems, amateur radio users who install radios and antennas
onto their vehicle should not locate the Amateur Radio Antennas in
the area of the driver's side hood.
²Electrical or electronic accessories or components that are added to
the vehicle by the authorized dealer or the owner may adversely affect
battery performance and durability.
