Driver Information Interface Warning and Information Messages
The following messages appear only on the driver information interface. Press the (display/information) button to see the mess age
again with the system message indicator on.
MessageConditionExplanation
●Appears if any door or the tailgate is not completely
closed.
●Appears if any door or th e tailgate is opened while
driving. The beeper sounds.
●Disappears when all doors and the tailgate are
closed.
●Appears if there is a problem with the parking sensor
system.
●If there is a problem with any of the sensors, the all
sensor indicator(s) comes on in red.
●Check if the area around the sensor(s) is covered with
mud, ice, snow, etc. If th e indicator(s) stays on even
after you clean the area, ha ve the system checked by
a dealer.
●Appears if there is a proble m with the acoustic vehicle
alerting system.●Have your vehicle checked by a dealer immediately.
●Appears when the scheduled maintenance is due soon.●Consequently, Maintenance Due Now and

●Appears if there is a problem with the shutter grille,
and the radiator coolant temperature is too high.●Power output will be reduced, so you may not be
able to accelerate or maintain your current speed.
Have your vehicle checked by a dealer.
●Appears when there is a problem with the 12-volt
battery charging system.●Have your vehicle checked by a dealer.
●Appears if the automatic brake hold is automatically
canceled while it is in operation.●Immediately depress the brake pedal.
●Appears when the engine coolant temperature gets

●Appears if there is a problem with the cooling system.●Drive slowly to prevent overheating and have your
vehicle checked by a dealer as soon as possible.
●Appears when you set the power mode to ON without
fastening the driver's seat belt.●Fasten the seat belt properly before you start to drive.
●Appears when you try to change the transmission
without depressing the brake pedal.●Depress the brake pedal, then change the
transmission.
●Appears when you try to change the transmission
without releasing your foot off the accelerator pedal.●Release your foot off the accelerator pedal, then
change the transmission.
●Appears when the (P button is pressed while the
vehicle is moving.
●Appears if you put the transmission into (R while the
vehicle is moving forward, or into

unexpectedly after you have stopped due to a

●Appears when the power system temperature is high.●Your vehicle has less ability to accelerate and may be
harder to start on an incline.
●Park in a safe place, and cool the system down.

●Appears when the High Volt age battery temperature is
low.●Your vehicle has less ability to accelerate and may be
harder to start on an incline.
●Goes off once you start dr iving as the High Voltage
battery warms up.

●Appears when the High Voltage battery and other
system control temperatures are too low to operate
(approx. -40°F [-40°C] or below).●You must wait for an increase in the ambient
temperature or move the vehicle to a warmer
location.
●Consult a dealer if necessary.
●Appears if the power system is in diagnostic mode.●You may notice a decrease in available power. Have
your vehicle checked by a dealer.
●As a result of diagnostics, the power system indicator
may come on.

●Appears when you have met following situations and
EV mode is canceled.
-Battery Temperature At Limit.
- Battery Charge Too Low.
- Engine Too Cold.
- Cabin Being Heated.
- Speed Too High.
- Hard Acceleration Requested.●EV mode is available once the condition is improved
or the cause that canceled EV mode is cleared.
●Appears when you depress the accelerator pedal while
the shift position is in
