Features
(Pick-up) button: Press to go directly to the phone menu on the driver
information interface, or to answer an incoming call.
(Hang-up/back) button: Press to end a call, go back to the previous
command, or cancel a command.
(Talk) button: Press to access Voice Portal.
buttons: Press to select an item displayed on the phone menu in the driver
information interface.
ENTER button: Press to call a number listed in the selected item on the phone
menu in the driver information interface.
(display/information) button: Select and press ENTER to display Speed
Dial , Call History , or Phonebook on the phone menu in the driver information
interface.
To go to the Phone Menu screen:
1. Select to switch the disp lay to the phone screen.

Features
The audio/information screen notifies you when there is an incoming call.
Certain manual functions are disabled or i noperable while the vehicle is in motion.
You cannot select a grayed-out option until the vehicle is stopped.
Only previously stored speed dial entries with voice tags, phonebook names, or
numbers can be called using voice commands while the vehicle is in motion.

■To pair a cell phone (when there is no
phone paired to the system)
1. Select .
2. Select Yes.
3. Make sure your phone is in search or
discoverable mode.
4. Select HandsFreeLink from your phone.
u If you want to pair a phone from this
audio system, select HandsFreeLink
Not Found , Continue , and then select
your phone when it appears on the list. If
your phone does not appear, you can
select Refresh to search again.
5. The system gives you a pairing code on the
audio/information screen.
u Confirm if the pairing code on the screen
and your phone match.
This may vary by phone.
6. A notification appears on the screen if
pairing is successful.
u You can prioritize a Bluetooth ® device at
the same time. Select Yes and then a
device you want to prioritize.

Your Bluetooth -compatible phone must be paired to
the system before you ca n make and receive hands-
free calls.
Phone Pairing Tips:
•You cannot pair your phone while the vehicle is
moving.
•Up to six phones can be paired.
•Your phone's battery may dr ain faster when it is
paired to the system.
•If your phone is not ready for pairing or not found
by the system within three minutes, the system will
time out and return to idle.
Once you have paired a phone, you can see it
displayed on the screen with one or two icons on the
right side.
These icons indicate the following: : The phone can be used with HFL.
: The phone is compatible with Bluetooth® Audio.
If there is an active c onnection to Apple CarPlay
TM,
pairing of additional Bluetooth -compatible devices is
unavailable.

■To delete all modified voice tags
1. Select .
2. Select Settings .
3. Select System.
4. Select the Voice Recog. tab.
5. Select Phonebook Phonetic
Modification .
6. Select the phone you want to delete
phonetic modification.
u The contact name list appears.
7. Select Delete All.
8. You will receive a confirmation message on
the screen, then select Yes.
You can make calls by inputting any phone
number, or by using the imported
phonebook, call history, speed dial entries, or
redial.
■Making a Call1 Making a Call
Any voice-tagged speed dial entry can be dialed by
voice from most screens.
Press the button and say the voice tag name.
Once a call is connected, you can hear the voice of
the person you are call ing through the audio
speakers.
While there is an active connection with Apple
CarPlay
TM, phone calls can be ma de only from Apple
CarPlayTM.

■To make a call using a Speed Dial entry
1. Go to the Phone Menu screen.

When there is an incoming call, an audible

Press the button to answer the call.

Features
The following options ar e available during a call.
Mute: Mute your voice.
Transfer: Transfer a call from the system to your phone.
Touch Tones : Send numbers during a call. This is useful when you call a menu-
driven phone system. The available options are shown on the lower
half of the screen.
Select the option.u The mute icon appears when Mute is
selected. Select Mute again to turn it off.

Compass Zone Selection
1. Set the power mode to ON.
2. Press and hold the (day/night) button
until the display shows the compass setting
menu.
3. Rotate to select Zone, then press .
The display shows the current zone
number.
4. Rotate to select the zone number of
your area (See Zone Map), then press .1Compass Zone Selection
The zone selection is done to compensate the
variation between magneti c north and true north.
If the calibration starts while the audio system is in
use, the display returns to normal after the calibration
is completed.

■To turn the power system off1Remote Engine Start
The power system may not be turned on by the
remote engine start if:
•You have disabled a remo te engine start setting
using the driver information interface* or audio/
information screen*.

•The power mode is not in VEHICLE OFF (LOCK).•The transmission is in a position other than (P.•The hood is open, or any door or the tailgate is
unlocked.
•You have already used the remote twice to turn the
power system on.
•Another registered keyless remote is in the vehicle.•There is an antenna failure.•The door is unlocked with the built-in key.•The engine oil pressure is low.•The engine coolant temper ature is extremely high.•The security system alarm is not set.Press and hold the
button for one
second.
Go within the range,
and try again.
The exterior lights flash once if the power system off successfully. The exterior lights will not flash when the remote is out of
the keyless access system range.
The power system will not be turned off.
1 To turn the power system off
The power system may be turned off while it is on if:
•You do not start the vehicl e within 10 minutes of
turning the power system on with the button on
the keyless remote.
•The power system is turned off by using the keyless
remote.
•The door is unlocked with the built-in key.•The hood is open.•The transmission is in a position other than ( P.•The engine coolant temper ature is extremely high.•The engine oil pressure is low.•The Malfunction Indicator Lamp comes on if there
is a problem with the emissions control systems.

You can calibrate the system from the
customized features on the driver information
interface.
1. Press the then / button to select
Vehicle Settings , then press the ENTER
button.
u TPMS Calibration appears on the
display.
2. Press the ENTER button.
u The display swit ches to the
customization setup screen, where you
can select Cancel or Calibrate .
3. Press the / button and select
Calibrate , then press the ENTER button.
u Calibration Started screen appears,
then the display returns to the
customization menu screen.
• If the Calibration Failed to Start message
appears, repeat steps 2-3.
• The calibration process finishes
automatically.
