Door Panel/Plastic Cover Replacement
NOTE: Take care not to scratch the door panel and other
parts.
1. Pry out the cap and remove the screw

Remove the inner handle trim while pulling the inner
handle.
Disconnect the power door lock connector.

Remove the bracket and door lock unit. lf necessary,
remove the {ront speaker. Disconnect the con
nectors.

7.Remove the cover panel, then disconnect the power
mirror connector (see page 20 49)
Detach the grommets and harness clips, then care
fully remove the plastic cover.

NOTE:
a Apply adhesive along the edge where necessary
to maintain a continuous seal and prevent water
leaks.
a Do notJ)lug the elongated hole.

a lMake sure the door harness is not pinched.

NOTEr Raise the glass fully.

a Door panel (see page 20 4)
a Plastic cover lsee page 20-4)
a Outer handle (see page 20 7)
2. Disconnect the inner handle rod and lock rod from
the latch.
Detach the inner handle rod and lock rod, then
remove the inner handle.
NOTE: Take care not to bend the rods.

NOTE: Take care not to damage the lock cylinder

connected securely.
a Make sure the wire harness is routed properly.

3. Loosen the bolt, then move the center channel
outward.

clip from the door.

NOTE: Take care not to bend lhe outer handle rod
