1. Close all doors.
2. Push the button on the transmitter.
3. At the same time all doors lock, theturn signal lights will blink once to indicate that the system is armed.
Unlocking doors 1. Push the button on the transmitter once more after all doors were locked.
2. At the same time all doors unlock,
the turn signal lights will blink twiceto indicate that the system is dis- armed.
B070E01MC-AAT Replacing the battery When the transmitter's battery begins to get weak, it may take several pusheson the button to lock or unlock the doors, and the LED will not light. Re- place the battery as soon as possible. Battery type : CR1220 Replacement instructions:
1. Remove the screw with a phillipsscrewdriver.
2. Carefully separate the case with a flat-head screwdriver. OMC025004
NOTE: The transmitter will not work if any of following occur:
- The ignition key is in ignition
switch.
- You exceed the operating distance
limit (10 m).
- The battery in the transmitter is weak.
- Other vehicles or objects may be blocking the signal.
- The weather is extremely cold.
- The transmitter is close to a radio
transmitter such as a radio station or an airport which can interfere with normal operation of the trans-mitter.
When the transmitter does not workcorrectly, open and close the doorwith the ignition key. If you have a problem with the transmitter, con- tact an authorised Hyundai Dealer. NOTE: Keep the transmitter away from wa- ter or any liquid. If the keyless entry system is inoperative due to expo-sure to water or liquids, it will not be covered by your manufacturer ve- hicle warranty.

To lower or raise the window, turn the window regulator handle clockwise or counterclockwise. WARNING:
When opening or closing the win-dows, make sure your passenger's arms, hands and body are safely out of the way.
3. Remove the battery cover with a
coin.
4. Remove the old battery from the case and note the polarity. Makesure the polarity of the new batteryis the same (+side facing up), then insert it in the transmitter.

The power windows operate when the ignition key is in the "ON" position. The main switches are located on the driver's
armrest and control the front (4/3 Door)
and rear windows (4Door) on both sides of the vehicle. The windows may be openedby depressing the appropriate window switch and closed by pulling up the switch. To open the window on the driver's side,press the switch(1) halfway down. The window moves as long as the switch is operated. To fully open the driver's win-dow automatically, press the switch fully down. In automatic operation, the window will fully open even if you let go of theswitch. To stop at the desired opening, pull up and release the switch.

!WARNING:
1) Be careful that someone's head, hands and body are not trapped by a closing window.
2) Never try to operate the main
switch on the driver's door andthe individual door window switch in opposing directions at the same time. If this is done, the windowwill stop and cannot be opened or closed.
3) Do not leave children alone in the car. Always remove the ignitionkey for their safety.

In order to prevent operation of the passenger front (4/3 Door) and rear windows (4Door), a window lockswitch(2) is provided on the armrest of the driver's door. To disable the power windows, press the window lock switch.To revert to normal operation, press the window lock switch a second time. NOTE: The power windows can be operated for 30 seconds after the ignition key is turned to the "ACC" or "LOCK"positions, or removed from the igni- tion switch. If the front doors are opened during this 30 second pe-riod, the power windows can no longer be operated without the igni- tion key turned to the "ON" position.OMC029049R
NOTE: While driving with the rear windows down or with the sunroof (if installed) in an open (or partially open) posi-
tion, your vehicle may demonstrate
a wind buffeting or pulsation
noise. This noise is a normal occur-rence and can be reduced or elimi- nated by taking the following ac-
tions. If the noise occurs with oneor both of the rear windows down,
partially lower both front windows
approximately one inch. If you ex-perience the noise with the sunroof open, slightly reduce the size of the sunroof opening.

To recline the seatback, lean forward to take your weight off it, then pull up onthe recliner control lever at the outside edge of the seat. Now lean back until the desired seatback angle is achieved.To lock the seatback into position, release the recliner control lever.

WARNING:
To ensure the seat is locked se- curely, attempt to move the seatforward or rearward without using the lock release lever.
To move the seat toward the front or rear, pull the lock release lever up-ward. This will release the seat on its track so you can move it forward or rearward to the desired position. Whenyou find the position you want, release the lever and slide the seat forward or rearward on its track until it locks intothe desired position and cannot be moved further.

To minimise risk of severe injury in the event of a collision or a sudden stop, both the driver and passenger seatbacks should always be in anupright position while the vehicle is in motion. The protection provided by the seat belts and airbags in afrontal collision may be reduced sig- nificantly when the seatbacks are reclined. There is greater risk thatthe driver and passenger will slide under the seat belt which may result in serious injury if a crash occurswhen the seatbacks are reclined. The seat belt cannot provide full protec- tion to an occupant if the seatback isreclined.!WARNING:
o For maximum effectiveness in case of an accident, the headrest should be adjusted so the middle of theheadrest is at the same height of the centre of gravity of an occupant's head. Generally, thecentre of gravity of most people's head is similar with the height of the top of their eyes. Also, adjustthe headrest as close to your head as possible. For this reason, the use of a cushion that holds thebody away from the seatback is not recommended.
o Do not operate the vehicle with the
headrests removed as severe in-jury to the occupants may occur in the event of an accident. Head-rests may provide protection against neck injuries when prop- erly adjusted.
o Do not adjust the headrest posi- tion of the driver's seat while thevehicle is in motion.

Adjusting the height up and down To raise the headrest, pull it up to the desired position (1). To lower the head- rest, push and hold the release button (2) on the headrest support and lowerthe headrest to the desired position (3). Removal To remove the headrest, raise it as far as it can go then press the release button (1) while pulling upward (2). The front passenger's seatback should be tilted to enter the rear seat. By pulling up on the recliner control lever (1) at the outside of the frontpassenger's seat, the seatback will tilt forward and the seat will automatically slide forward.Rear seat occupants can tilt the front passenger's seatback by depressing the foot lever (2) as shown in the illus-tration. Passengers sitting in the rear seat should be careful not to accidentallypress the foot lever (2) while the vehicle is moving, as this may cause the seatback to move forward andinjure a front seat occupant.

To recline the seatback, pull up the seatback folding lever (1) and push the seatback rearward. To return the seatback to an upright position, pull upthe seatback folding lever (1) and pull the seatback forward until the seatback locks into upright position.After adjusting the seatback angle, al- ways check that it is securely locked into place. o For maximum effectiveness in case of an accident, the headrest should be adjusted so the middle of the headrest is at the same height ofthe centre of gravity of an occupant's head. Generally, the centre of gravity of most people'shead is similar with the height of the top of their eyes. Also, adjust the headrest as close to your headas possible. The use of a cushion that holds the body away from the seatback is not recommended.

B110A02MC-DAT Folding Rear Seatbacks (If Installed) The rear seatbacks may be folded to facilitate carrying long items or to in-crease the luggage capacity of the vehicle.
WARNING:
The purpose of the fold-down rearseatbacks is to allow you to carry longer objects than could otherwisebe accommodated. Never allow passengers to sit on top of the folded down seatback or cargoarea while the car is moving as this is not a proper seating position and no seat belts are available for use.This could result in serious injury or death in case of an accident or sud- den stop. Objects carried on thefolded down seatback should not extend higher than the top of the front seats. This could allow cargo toslide forward and cause injury or damage during sudden stops.
Removal (If Installed) To remove the headrest, raise it as far as it can go then press the release button (1) while pulling upward (2). To reinstall the headrest, put the head-rest poles (3) into the holes while press- ing the release button (1). Then adjust it to the appropriate height.

1. Slide the front seats forward and adjust the front seatbacks to be up- right before folding the rear seatbacks down.
